Vanlife Gaming 48v Solar Electrical System Diagram

This is a complete diagram that I put together of my exact electrical system that's built into the back of my new campervan. If you haven't watched the episode on my Youtube where I assemble all of this and talk a bit about my system and why chose to go with a 48v system this time around, you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/5EvByEM7WKs

But as promised in that video, I wanted to make this document publicly available for those of you that are interested in what it looks like to assemble such an advanced off-grid solar electrical system that's can withstand the power draw of a beefy gaming PC, an air conditioning unit, and tons more!

Now this system was designed and put together by my self and I learned everything I know about off grid electrical through watching Youtube videos. And while I am pretty confident in this system and my abilities to put this system together safely, for liability purposes I just want to make it very clear that I am NOT a professional. So this document is to be used for reference purposes only. Please do no attempt to replicate my system exactly.

Each electrical system is different and your systems needs might be different from mine which could cause your system to require different sized wires and fuses to make sure it operates safely. So please take that into consideration when putting together your off grid system!

Here are some great online tools you can use to determine your wire and fuse sizes:
Wire cize calculator: https://explorist.life/wire-sizing-calculator/
Fuse size calculator: https://explorist.life/fuse-sizing-calculator/

And below is a list of all the components and tools that I used to assemble this system! These are my affiliate links so if you're looking to add any of these items to your kit, please consider using these links to help support my channel at no extra cost to you! <3

I was so excited to do this setup in my van, until I realized the bidirectional converter is over $3000. /: Regardless, I appreciate you sharing man! You've helped me learn quite a bit.

Dude I’m so stoked to see the completion of this van!

Hey Trent, wanted to mention something to consider. All that electrical under your bed could be giving off an unhealthy amount of emfs. May want to consider putting some sort of material between the electrical and the bottom of your mattress to block emfs
