TSOTH - Pages 13-17

This week I managed to do 5 pages in 4 days, my new record. I know I'm still not even close to doing 4-5 pages a day, like some Japanese mangakas who publish weekly do, but my speed is picking up! I want to be able to finish this comic before the end of September!
I started the False Hydra comic in February, and I had to stop it several times throughout the year because of other projects and IRL stuff, and I feel like these breaks ended up affecting the consistency of the comic's art.
In the meantime I learned a ton of new things, got new equipment and brushes, changed the character designs a bit, etc. So when I come back from page 1 and start flipping through the other pages, I have this feeling of lack of consistency, but it might be more in my head. Anyway, I'll organize myself better in the next works so I can draw everything in a shorter space of time and with more consistency!
I hope you like the pages, we've just passed the halfway point of the story, will Cleric be able to get out of this mess?😬😨😱

ty. The twitter situation maybe it can still be saved, but I'm not 100% sure yet. When the situation evolves further I'll make a post explaining, but for now I prefer not to risk too much.

Anyways, I wish you all the best with Bluesky. I'm sure you'll be just as successful there as you were back on twitter. I'm just sorry that it had to happen this way.

2024-08-31 04:15:26 +0000 UTCYeah I didn't expect it to have the "Dominate Person" ability this early, or at least until it got its 7th head. Damn, that is actually a pretty cool concept. And we've only seen 2 heads so far right? So what song does the Hydra head that was about to chomp on Cleric know? Also, was the song at the end more of a paralysis attack or a mind break attack? Cause her nose bleed kinda points towards the latter.

False hydra is a homebrew monster so theres a lot of versions out there, but usually in all the versions they hydra only have two songs. When the hydra is small (like this one) it only sings a AOE amnesia song that makes it Imperceptible even it its literally in front of you. And when the hydra is mature (It ate so many people that it grew all the 7 heads) it sings a AOE mind control song. However In my version of the false hydra i thought it would be more fun for each head to have Its own song, and each having a different effect. The head responsible for the song used and the start of the comic did not appear yet.

As for the story, I'm glad to see that the Cleric was able to perform so well even when put in such a dire situation. But alas, I guess she just couldn't predict what the Hydra was capable of. I am quite curious though, was the sound attack at the end different from the one used up until recently?
