First Kenpachi PSD. File and Process video

I'm trying out some new brushes for linework and painting, the feeling is always a little strange at first. I should continue the Hydra comic using my old linework brush because I think the difference in style would be too big to do in the middle of the comic, but the other comics should already be done with the new ones.

As always, thank you very much for your support! I hope you enjoy the video!

Damn, he sounds like a real cool dude. And he has a YouTube channel? I've gotta check that out later. Oh well I'm sure it'll turn out great. All the best with your commissions bro, I'll see you at your next post ✌️

I love Sabu, I've studied a lot of his art. He sells some tutorials on his website that are super useful. He's Brazilian like me and he created a YouTube channel a few months ago where he posts SFW stuff, I follow a lot of his work, great guy. Bunny Akane unfortunately will take a little longer because I had to focus on finishing two commissions.

I like it, looking forward to seeing any future works with this style. It kinda reminds me a little bit of an artist called Sabu. They do some pretty cool DnD-themed art too. Great to hear, sounds like there's some real science involved when drawing action scenes huh? So how goes the Bunny Akane short story? Are you satisfied with the results?

About the brush thing, Im liking the results som im gonna continue using them for a while. I like how they have a little texture to them that helps make the linework have a more gritty feel to it. Less clean and "digital". But yeah i will be switching depending on the work, but for dark medieval fantasy (which is what im more inclined to draw atm) I think they work pretty well. About the studys on action scenes and mosters, the monster part is a little slow cuz with the exception of the Hydra, the other comics im going atm dont have monsters in it, but Im always looking and saving refs for it. The action part is going great tho, I already feel a lot more comfortable drawing this kind of thing, the process is starting to "make more sense."

Nice to see what you've been working on. Always lovely to observe the process and watch how it ends. So will this new brush style be what you'll be using for the foreseeable future? Or will you be switching it up every now and then for different works? Also, how goes your progress with action scenes and monster works? Found any cool new inspirations?
