SNR Progress Log #3 -- The Script!

Spoilers for pretty much the entire thing. Beware before opening, you've been warned!

Here is the full, finalized (*except for the titles) script for all 6 episodes. There'll probably be some extra little promo stuff on the side that I'll write later, but this is what the main bulk of it is gonna be like. 4136 words of dialogue, total runtime estimated to be 40-50 minutes.

Much like the "distinct character design is important" blurb I went on about in the first log, it's equally important to make sure the characters both look different and talk different. If you were to give someone a random line from the script, they should be able to guess which character it belongs to at least half the time.

• Mona talks with a bit of anxiety in her voice. Not too much! Just a little bit. I was careful not to flanderize her into a "ooh she sucks at everything and screams all the time" type character. She only sucks a little bit and screams sometimes, and manages to not-suck by the end of the story.

• Naomi is probably the most distinct, being someone who talks with sternness and authority. It really takes a lot to put her on the back heel (her last name "Glace" is kinda-French for "glacier").

• Jack speaks with experience and laxness, being the oldest (early-mid 40s) of the bunch. She's also probably the smartest, mostly emotional/social intelligence. She knows how to navigate a situation or argument.

• Aiko is sort of like Jack, but more bubbly and extroverted. Essentially the polar opposite to Mona- you'd never confuse those two's lines, lol. She's voiced by Trina, so you pretty much know what to expect when reading her lines.

This same thinking goes into the scripts for my regular audio stories as well- because even if it's a a fanfic, you can tell when something is out-of-character, lol.

You will also notice that the roles are filled. They're all been confirmed, recorded, and I'll be showing them off over the next couple weeks! Look forward to it. 😉
