TL;DR
New visualizer teehee :^)
Info on a BIG PROJECT that I'll be working on for the next year-ish
DBZ audio will have WIPs posted 6/29 and be uploaded publicly 7/6
Further details below!
----
Here's a little something I worked on yesterday: a minute-long preview of the new visualizer in action. Some details are still to-be-added (subtitles) and others might be changed around (not too sure about how those bars at the bottom look...).
(Audio + visuals are subject to change. Sorry to mobile users for the 50mb gif 🥴)

This is also hinting at the fact that my next audio will be An Immobile Android?! The 18-Ton Feast!, a full remake of Android 18's Eighteen Ton Feast from 2020.
In terms of visuals, I kept this relatively simple. The main focus here was to make it easier for me to use without losing any of the info that was on my previous visualizer. Said previous visualizer required me to use three programs: REAPER (audio), kdenlive (subtitles), and Vegas Pro (visuals). The new visualizer only requires REAPER (audio and visuals) and kdenlive (subtitles).

So, I've had this set as my banner for a while now:

And some of you, at one time or another, may have thought to yourself: who are these characters, and why did I feel it necessary to put them there instead of Trina? Like literally WHO?? Hello??
If you've been following me for any number of years (read: this goes as far back as 2018), you've likely seen me mention that I have a "big project" that I'm working on. It's mostly just been something that's sat at the back of my head as a "yeah I'll do this Soon™ Eventually™". You know, one of THOSE. But I think I'm now at a point (both in terms of skill and connections) to finally begin on making this a reality (FOR REAL THIS TIME™).
Elevator pitch: this is going to be a six-part audio with full visuals. Something akin to visual novels like Steins;Gate or When They Cry. While likely closer to the former, it won't exactly match either of the two's styles.
As for the characters...

also: your reminder that this is the extent of my drawing ability :V
Mona Minnuit is the first character you'll be introduced to, and more-or-less main protagonist. I say "protagonist" in only the literal sense of the word. She's not exactly the brave, stoic, cunning 'hero' type. As the newest hire at SNR Records, she quickly finds herself far in over her head! Between her peers, the pressure of working under such a big corporation, and the many unorthodox marketing campaigns they run... it's a lot to take in! Follow her as she goes from klutzy fish-out-of-water to pumped-up talent manager!
Jacqueline Sharpe (but you can call her "Jackie") is Mona's boss. While Mona mayyy have flubbed the interview a little and maaayyy have exaggerated some parts of her résumé, Jacqueline's more than understanding enough to give Mona a fair shake. Don't mistake her for a mentor figure though, her management style is VERY hands-off when it comes to other people.
Naomi Glace (in banner, left hand side) is Mona's coworker, and also works under Jackie. Naomi is Mona's opposite in nearly every way- an upper-manager at SNR with nearly a decade of experience at the company, a keen eye for precision, and distaste for those without. When Mona comes stumbling through the doors on her very first day, she's sure to leave a bad impression...
and Aiko Rivabu (in banner, right hand side) is the center of it all! While she isn't SNR's only talent, she's certainly the most notable... but at the end of the day, she's just a singer. Occasionally songwriter, but her scope is fairly narrow. That's why marketing exists- needless to say, she meets with Naomi a lot... and now Mona is involved with her too. Will the two's opposing viewpoints affect Aiko's career? Perhaps!
I am aware that (outside of some cheeky wording in Mona's description) these are not very fetish porn descriptions. That will come in due time. Over the course of the six episodes, all of these characters will have their opportunities to blow up in some way or another. Some even multiple times!
But for a project like this, you can't get away with throwing a cute girl at the viewer willy-nilly. I already have most aspects of the characters nailed down- personality, speaking style, (tentative) VA picks, physical proportions, expansion proportions, relationship charts, every character questionnaire I can find online, even what political parties they'd vote for! I'm only half-joking.
I am currently in talks to get character references done for approximately October or November, barring any complications with the artist. In the meantime, I'll be writing the script and preparing a bunch of mockups to demonstrate "hey this is what I want to do, can I commission you for art assets pweaaase 😊". I'll post updates when I can, but don't expect it to be a monthly update finger-on-the-pulse thing just yet.

This post is getting too long so I'm gonna work on Akeno blowing up into a boobs-and-ass shaped balloon now. okay byeeeee 👋
