My favorites that I can think of right now for people that like sad things: Another Earth: It's a story about a girl that does something unforgiveable. She goes to apologize, but she loses her nerve and she lies to him. She thinks she might be able to make his life a little bit better, but it was really just a way to survive what she had done. The Leftovers: Excellent show that mixes mystery and dealing with grief with a fantastic soundtrack. The OA: An experience. If you love it you love it. Never should have been cancelled. Hopefully it is not the end of its journey. Rectify: a very slow burn, but very beautiful show. A fictional drama about a guy that was accused of murdering his gf when he was in high school. The show starts off with his release from prison 20 years later after new evidence casts doubt upon the original convinction. And his re-integration into his small home town.....Because I know you, because I know you, because I know you. There's not many shows quite like this show. These shows are definitely not for everyone (apart from The OA - that is for everyone), and they aren't shows to watch casually. You often have to be in the right mood. But if it hits, then it hits good. You either love them or hate them.

2025-01-30 18:36:22 +0000 UTCI'VE BEEN TO ACTION PARK!!!! I did the tarzan swing QT talked about with the frigid water because it was at the top of a mountain. They should NOT have let me do it, I was so small and like 8 years old. No one checked if I knew how to swim, there was no minimum height requirement, etc. My dad had to lift me up to reach the bar you grab and then you swing out over the mountain water and fall several feet. People died because of the shock of the cold water. You would have to swim for so long to get out and the lifeguard was at the end of it. If you truly started to drown no way that one person could swim out in time. All that being said ...... MOST FUN IVE EVER HAD A WATER PARK!! They also had "cannon ball falls" where you essentially cliff dived into a public pool like almost 20 feet below? No one told you when to jump so you could jump on people since it was a free swimming area too. Crazy stuff. It's still open I believe!
