Make it make sense. Admittedly, the list is a little QT-coded (or QT's mod-coded), and Maya's a little young to have grown up with some of these fictional dads. But why Goofy and Max?! Also, you're probably talking about the Liam Neeson/James Franco bit, which was also great. I'm right there with you, we need a segment where Maya matches celebrity faces with who she thinks they are.

"In the series finale, he is revealed to have been alive the whole time" feels like some pandering, way-too-convenient bullshit you throw into the final episode to satisfy fans that have been underwhelmed as the show gets worse and worse.

The only reason I can think of is It seems to be a new little trend because they have to report delays and gate changes for operation metrics. So employees just do not update any information at the gate that would cause an autopush through the app where it would be reported and then it looks like their numbers are good at the end of the quarter.

Seems like the story got warped as it moved through social media/fan comms. The discourse around Luke's GF is so unfair to them as people with their own lives. T_T

It was kind of out of the blue and the later seasons are definitely not as riveting as the first 5-6. There was a whole spinoff series about what happens to him after the main series too!
