Because theres baking streams and all the extra content for this podcast and fear& and it would be good to scale back the least "important" things. Just cause you've always done something doesnt mean you have to continue doing it

Ive recently started working at a hospital and my God is it draining My first rotation was incredibly rough with learning all the new stuff and handling 30 hour calls every few days Im now on a rotation which is much less forgiving in terms of hours but boy has it been a blessing. You really need as much a period of time as possible to rest and recuperate before you hit the next working day and any complete day off i get i cherish. Its been good for my mental for sure. So yes, a day off in a work week is a must!! Good job Maya on being able to do that for herself and i really hope qt manages to find a balance for herself as well.

Please do not feel bad about venting or "complaining" you are entitled to how you feel! The Patreon community especially would empathize the most since we care enough about both of you as people to actually contribute money towards additional content, your mental health and well-being is far more important than the potential for a few people to get annoyed about either of you venting, and if they do get mad, they're not the right audience anyways so fuck 'em!

2024-05-31 13:35:02 +0000 UTCi always feel bad when qt apologizes for complaining, or has to explain that she’s not actually complaining. it should be fine for you to complain, having good things doesn’t mean you’re gonna be happy 100% of the time. i know it’s a sort of learned reaction since people in chat judge you for it so much, just sucks that it’s ended up in you feeling bad for having any type of negative feelings.

You literally have a chemical imbalance in your brain. I used to be the same way but then my anxiety became too much to deal with. When I got on Lexapro it changed my life, I always tell people that it wasn't a change I could pinpoint but in retrospect it's so obvious how much I was held up by my mental health.
