Yes the house is on a street and yes the store is on the pier BUT they back on to each other. You can see the house as they walk down the stairs. You can see where they smoke outside downstairs, the BBQ, the sliding door they storm out of regularly. It IS attached by the stairs. Danny owns both the house and store.
