2023-06-21 21:38:36 +0000 UTCIf QT ate Maya she'd have to smoke or cure the meat to stop it going bad though (otherwise anything not eaten within a day or two would be inedible), I think smoking is the easiest preservation choice on limited resources, so you'd have to learn beforehand how to make a makeshift smoker too!

Traps could be set up around & Maya already has buildings there. They could go into town to forage items every once in a while.
