I went for half of one day and couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Thank god nothing extremely bad happened at edc, although I heard about plenty of fucked up druggings happening that bag checks would have kind of prevented, but holy fuck don’t go to that fest. There should always be some baseline of security at public events, regardless of who you are

You can't forgive your parents (or whoever) for their role in what happened unless you give yourself permission to blame them. It's hard because that trauma teaches us to be in control, but placing blame means recognizing our lack of control.

You can probably do it anonymously if you want, but tell them your story and that you are worried about his children’s safety. And then you can trust that the decisions they make after that, are the “right” decision. They are trained and have experience navigating those situations and they ALWAYS have the safety of the kids at number 1 priority.

For example, qt said that she never called Joel Madden a creep for dating Hilary Duff when she was 16 and he was 25. The reason those relationships happen less often today is because people today aren't willing to idolize a pedophile. And qt said that people online that hold creators to a high standard are just projecting, but if no one calls them out then we would just be normalizing their behavior.
