Snowbell is always looking for new ways to expand her spheres of influence in the world; and her journeys have taken her fare and wide across a number of realms. One such journey had lead her to a strange realm inhabited primarily by differently-colored mushroom people who all look identical. Snowbell didn't seem to see much potential in this land as a part of her kingdom... Until she learned who ruled it.
A beautiful princess that was pure of heart? Such a being seemed too good a prize to pass up for Snowbell. Of course Snowbell could easily barge in and take her; but the Ice Queen knew that would be too direct. Instead she opted for a more subdued approach; sneaking in to cast a spell over the pure-hearted Princess. A simple mind-control spell; that's all it would take for Peach to surrender her kingdom and her crown "of her own volition" to Snowbell.
Now Snowbell begins her new rule in this world; marking the occasion with a "dedication" to the previous ruler rendered in unmeltable ice. Sadly the former Princess was unable to attend; having mysteriously "vanished" after her abdication of the crown. Where she went is a mystery to all...
...Well... To all but Snowbell, of course.
