Newsletter - Happy New Year 2026!

Hi guys and gals!

I know, I know… it’s a little bit late 😅 but still — I want to wish all of you a Happy New Year!
Let it be much better (and bigger 👀) than the previous one.

First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports me. I truly appreciate it. Without you — every single one of you — I wouldn’t be here.
Every time I see someone enjoying my work, leaving feedback, or writing to me with ideas, my heart literally skips a beat. No joke.
You guys are amazing. So once again: THANK YOU for the support ❤️

It might be a good idea to recap the last year, right?
Well… last year was a bit of a rollercoaster for me personally. There were some personal obstacles that turned into pretty difficult challenges. I had plans for you guys, but unfortunately I had to put the animation idea on hold. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to do animations — there’s just a lot to learn, and not enough time to learn everything from scratch right now. I hope you understand.

That said… I also achieved something new. Something bigger 👀
Let’s stay tuned for that.

This brings me to a few other points.

I do listen to my community — to you. I’m always trying to find a compromise that makes as many people happy as possible.
As I’m writing this newsletter, I’m rendering the last slide of the New Year Party with Cathy, Eleanor, and Felicia. At the same time, I’m also working on an ongoing commission.

Yes — commissions.
Those of you who have been with me from the beginning know that I do commissions.
At the moment, I can only comfortably work on one commission at a time. Since I’m currently in the middle of one, the slot is not available right now.

For now, I plan to keep it this way, as I want to make sure I can give each commission the attention and quality it deserves. That said, I won’t say never — if things change in the future and my time allows it, this may evolve.

If a commission is not a large comic-based project with dozens of slides, the slot can open up more often.

And this leads to an important point.

I want to change the commission rules. I hope I’ll manage to write the new rules this month.
Just a small hint 👀 — commissions will be scaled by sizes.

After that, I’d also like to make some changes on Patreon and DeviantArt. I know this is a sensitive topic for you, so don’t worry — I won’t make any radical changes without discussion. We can talk everything through in chats first.

Which brings me to one more thing — chat and communication.

I know I’m not very active in Patreon or DeviantArt chats. However, I am active on Discord. Someone recently suggested that I should create my own Discord server. I’m still thinking about it and I’m not sure if it would be worth it.

So let me know what you think.
If there would be, let’s say, more than 50 people genuinely interested, I will seriously consider creating my own Discord.
