Some Minor Changes Coming to The Stable's Patreon

Hey guys,

So I have to be real with you guys for a minute. I have been burning the candle at both ends for way too long and I need to make some changes as I am closing in on a burnout here.
I had a good chat with those of you on discord about changes I could make which would lessen my work load a bit while not changing too much of how this patreon runs, and keeping the benefits you guys love most.

So moving forward here is what you can expect:

1) For all tiers:  I will be reducing the number of comic pages of my own content to 3 per month, two from the main storyline and one from the current side-comic (right now that is pretty girl).

Four pages per month is just unsustainable, I am struggling to keep up with the planning, story boarding and then actually creating the pages.
It's making it impossible to do any other fun side stable art, anatomy/landscape/character studies and personal art.
I do have some stable themed comic commissions coming up so there will still likely be more then 3 comic pages per month, just of different stories.

2) For those in the +$5 tier per month: I will be simplifying the style I do my character questions.

This should be a very negligible change for you guys, but huge for me. When I started these they were a rough sketching style and at some point I decided to do them in a finished comic style. I don't know why I do this to myself. X.X

3)For those in the $10 tier and up: I am going to get rid of the monthly speedpaint sketchbook and WIP packs. In replacement of these I will try do to more streams, including some doodle streams where I take requests. Currently I only do streams through discord as this is the only platform I have found to be reliable.

Often when I am really busy I don't do any sketching and at the end of the month find myself scrambling to come up with content, and the WIP packs have also gotten repetitive. After chatting with folks it seems they aren't popular anyway so I am hoping it is no great loss to you.

If you aren't on discord yet shoot me a message and I will send you a link. I will also post on here when I plan to do doodle request streams. I will also still post sketches, WIPs and speedpaints as they come up, as I am hoping with these changes I will have more time for personal stuff like that.

I think these small changes will make some room in my schedule so I can focus on personal projects, studies (to improve my art) and maybe finally have the time to work on stable merch. I hope they aren't too much change for you guys, I really appreciate all your support over the years and I work hard to make good content for you. I really love my job, and I am looking forward to a future where I have the space to not just maintain but improve.

Feel free to comment or message me with questions.

Much Love

Sounds great to me! I'd rather have reliable content and a unstressed artist than less content due to burnout or hand injury. Remember to give yourself grace. You're only human after all. Be well 💜
