Dev Log 0.43c: Fond Memories

So, it's been a little bit since we last tackled Lisa, not as long as some things have been waiting, but a while.

And it went really well. I'm not entirely sure I got all the emotional beats communicated... but I really doubled down on some things it was missing. trying to bring out what was happening. It's always a problem trying to be communicate what a character is trying to hide...

But started off finishing up the puzzle to "solve"... And by solve, well... give it a bit of a go and see what happens, the time of actually needed to put your brain to work has come and gone. But in this case, it will require just a little bit of exploring in places where certain girls are, and then, perhaps exploring again.

There are minor updates that this can have people say, and it can even lead to finding another book in the living room. Cassidy and Haily may have opinions on this.

But at the end of the day... As long as you've tried, you can go for a solve and everything should all come together over the BBQ.

All the while Lisa content has been updated to show her increasingly specific state.

If you succeed... well, Lisa might not be great at showing her emotions... but a big upwelling of messages might just make their way through to you. We're talking 5 or so.

All in all, it's a lot of moving parts, but I feel I've done a good job on letting you be real free form and the actual criteria for progression is very low. Unlike the huge scenes from Cassidy last week, this time we've got dozens of the things. Regardless, this brings Lisa C2 to an end... I'm still not sure that the story I'm telling is actually written in the game... but I can always patch things up if needs be. And I do think I did a good job of it regardless.

So what next?

Normally there would have been a poll, but there are only two characters left, Carla Pregnancy part 2 and Jenny.

Edit: for some reason I keep forgetting that it's Jenny turn instead of Lina Preg.

These have been waiting long enough, I'm diving into it!
