Dev Log 0.41c: By Popular Request

So this week I am starting scene requests with a side of Sami pregnancy! (If you haven't submitted there is still time, as is there if for some reason you want to dip into creepy stalker)

I got all my ducks inn a row and set in to work. A couple of them I've been quite interested in getting into as they are just interesting ideas. And, coincidentally, the ones for this week ended up being about Sami.

All in all, as you can see, we've got a bit of an interesting date night prepared for the two. And if you've got a certain Carla memory, it will even have an extension.

After that, there is a certain dream.

Some people are confused about why some things are in memories and how they compare to dreams. I know quite a few people who don't touch them because, well, why would you bother with non-cannon content? And, for the dreams, this is true.

Dreams are something I use to include scenes that can't go in the main loop. The rapid ultra breast expansion is just a little too magical for the cannon timeline. Sometimes they are scenes that the main game just isn't ready for, eventually being moved inside the loop. This means they might be spoilers, or they might be something that's just silly fun. I perfectly understand wanting to skip them, and if you do, that's on you.

Memories though, I can recommend you watch. These get unlocked when you reach certain game milestones, normally corruption levels. Memories are canonical events that happen in universe. They are dates you go on and encounters you have in the new timelines that are uncovered by the corruption levels.

But really, I haven't talked too much about what I actually got done this week and I'm normally so up front with it. In this case, I just got the two scene requests done. There is also a bunch of minor Sami pregnancy updates that I was telling myself I could ship as something approximating content... But we're talking a few handfuls of lines and re-renders... I don't think it would really be worth your time to dig into yet, and I can just include a much more relevant selection next week.

This means things are a little scant this week (Well, besides the render front, did like 30 of those). But I'm also pretty tired, sure I could have pushed through another 6 hours and had a changelog I could be proud of... instead I'll make the decision to be proud of and just take care of myself.

This goes hand in hand with a looming stress I have in a very important birthday party I am in charge of organising. It's all under control, it wraps up next week and it will be my main priority next week as well. And after that it will be done. I've made plans to still have the best work week I can for it, but I just thought I'd give you all the heads up.

Anyway, as I said, I'm pretty tired. I would have said exhausted but I don't think that's true. I'm gonna make sure to practice self care!
