omg the comment you made about working in hospitality and not always having patience! I felt that in my soul!! I work retail and when I'm in a good mood I'm so polite to customers and have great chats, but some days customer service tears you down and its hard to be nice when it feels like people aren't even treating you like a human sometimes. this is a bit of a random rant but I respect people who can hold their patience constantly in customer service, because while I'm never one to be rude, sometimes it takes so much effort to even muster up a smile.

I think I know which one you talking about the run at there dorm where they picked clothes and threw a rose to pick who they styled for . Yes that's the same jacket I remember the tiger on the back of it. Now I know where I've seen JK wear that jacket from its bon voyage. 😆

Jin was asked in one of the more recent run BTS who “the member is that you know will always have your back no matter what” and to call them forward…. And Jin chose jungkook lol they’re little handshake is so funny and so Jinkook …. Love their chaotic bond

The even cuter part is that jungkook of course always says no lol he wouldn’t take something from one of his hyungs like that anyway lol I’m pretty sure all the boys know that about jungkook … he’s such a loving baby brother… reminds me of when he offered to share his clothes with jimin on in the soop 😂 that would have been fun Edit: oh wait EXCEPT food… jk will normally take food or candy donations 😂 that’s why I was surprised he said no to the finger bowling food thing jimin offered…. Those are usually the places he will gladly receive from his loving hyungs haha but he ended up getting food anyway… and hobi thank goodness… gotta feed our sweet boys Jimin shopping thinking about everybody was just so stinking cute…. He really is an angel!!! I guess with hyungs like his I shouldn’t be surprised lol they taught him well

Another FYI, that area BTS was walking in the volcano before sunset was subsumed in the 2021 Halema'uma'u Crater eruption. The Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park still exists but that whole area is an active volcano. Kilauea Crater recently erupted in 2022 (it stopped a couple of weeks ago.)

FYI The Big Island is Hawaii's largest island in the island chain. BTS were initially in Kona and then drove to Hilo (Akaka Falls) - it's a fairly long drive, hence V was likely tired from that. Lili'uokalani was the name of Hawaii's last sovereign monarch. And they were lucky to find it sunny in Hilo, its normally rainy there. If you listen to the ladies taking their order in the pancake house, you'll hear the patois that we call "pidgin" in Hawaii. And SUGA saying "International KPOP rainbow sensation" is just the beginning of this long a** meme about BTS (self-described, but super funny).

Also Austin if you do react to Spine Breaker live could you please, pretty please, react to the dual POV video. The guys were filming themselves while the professional cameras were also filming and it is a wiiiiilllllld ride 😅

The song you don't recognize is called Spine Breaker. "Spine Breaker" was written by Pdogg, OWO, Rap Monster, Suga, J-Hope, Slow Rabbit, Supreme Boi, and Song Chang-sik. BTS made an interesting homemade music video for “Spine Breaker”. Each BTS member has a certain part in the music video. Rap Monster acts as the MV director, while J-Hope works as an assistant director. Jin managed the choreography while Jungkook participated as the man behind the camera. The cast in the MV are Food Truck Suga, Mental Carer V, and Luggage Guy Jimin. The MV was made while BTS was taking a break between tours inside their hotel. And some of the coreography is Jin's idea. The live performance of spine breaker is also very epic, you have to react to it.

I love all the Hawaii episodes so much. Seeing Jin make friends with people he meets on Bon Voyage trips is something you'll see more of. I loved their video messages to each other in the behind the scenes clip. They are all so sincerely sweet with each other and effortlessly funny. I love these guys.

So at 1:02:26 when JK says "Producer SiHyuk"... the others laugh because, instead of carrying on the joke and saying something to Tae, JK jumps right up the ladder and is going to say something to Bang PD. And not only that, but he says the informal "SiHyuk hyung" rather than addressing him more formally making it even more ridiculous. Now JK can call him SiHyuk hyung without a second thought, but not back in 2017.

Loved this episode! I always really enjoy the behind the cam vids too. JK having a bad losing game streak in Hawaii is funny cuz he's usually very good at games. It's always crazy to me that the guys start betting or daring each other to make things interesting I feel like the camera crew must think gee we don't have to spice anything up they do it on their own lol. I like that their production crew for Run BTS and Bon Voyage has grown with them over the years by BV2 they learned from BV1 they didn't need to play tricks on the guys etc to get great content something I wish the korean tv stations would learn but then again if they hadn't been so shady we wouldn't have had bts join vlive to create their own shows. The behind the cam reminds me alot of their earliest bangtan bombs in a way because the boys use to be the ones filming them and each other. Jimin mentioned during the Live commentary for BV2 he injured his finger in Hawaii while trying to take a picture and stumbling on a rock. But it wasn't bad and he healed up. I think they are proactive about trying to prevent injury so they will bandage things to help protect from further injury. I think this is something they especially do well now after being in the industry for awhile. I'm always glad they have a whole team of professional crew that they take with them on tours now dedicated to helping prevent injury or illness. It made me think that it's a lot like professional athletes these groups put themselves through a lot and it takes a tremendous toll on the body and mind. It's super important they be given the tools and time to heal properly or to prevent injury in the first place. It took a lot of learning and growing pains to get to where they are now but they have a wealth of knowledge from it.

I doubt they gambled in Vegas. It’s actually illegal for Koreans to do casino gambling. They have the lottery in Korea and can do like betting on races but they can’t gamble at casinos even if they’re out of the country. I remember some YG CEO getting in trouble for gambling outside of the country a few years back
