2023-03-02 03:14:40 +0000 UTCin 2019 When BTS took their first REAL vacation they asked ARMY to please if they see them in public let them be. And it pretty much worked! there were a few sightings, but people were respectful and let them have free time. BTS even saw where maybe afterwards fans would post about and then BTS thanked us al for letting them relax. But also before and after that because of "Bon Voyage" they have the phrase "important business" which is literally code for fans to back off, the members are unavailabe. But if I ever saw them in passing I wouldn't be rude or scream or anything, but I'd definately say something. Basically just "I'm a huge fan and thank you for all you've done for me" And if that's all I could say I would die happy, but I would regret never saying anything. IF given the chance Like this one time Big Bang was doing a show, kind of similar, except the only thing they did in public was go to a grocery store to pick out groceries for their little camping trip. They obviously had security and also obviously hadn't shopped for themselves for a while. It was all very normal and smooth and then checking out they did everything normally and at the end the cashier said "I'm huge your fan" to G-Dragon. She was clearly just going to leave it at that. But he got so excited and happy and offered to take a picture with her. And then the memebers were cracking up because he was literally her home-screen and it was just a beautiful and sweet moment. That's the kind of thing I would wish for. I would at least say hi, and if it's not the moment that's enough for me, but maybe something cool would happen

At this time they still weren’t nearly as big as they are now, and I’m assuming that guy who asked them if they were “kpopers” must have recognized them before asking that. It’s totally understandable on why they couldn’t take photos with them, but I’m sure as people who are famous they must be used to that. That doesn’t mean they aren’t people too though and deserve to have privacy. Ah, it must be so hard being as popular as they are.

Various subunits go about the city and do things - ziplining in Vancouver, eating lunch in Seattle, playing pickup basketball in the dark with a random stranger's basketball, throwing a baseball in the park in DC, catching the subway in NYC, sailing on a small boat, buying a hot dog from a street vendor - stuff like that. It's fun and sweet and with Seventeen, you always get a random mix of different members. I think you'd love it!

Tae and Hobi went to Hawaii, and they posted they are so happy, that ARMY pretended not to know them, Bighit made several statements, that walking up the boys, their location's no where you will end up with law enforcement or their bodyguards going to do their jobs. It's terrifying for them, because they can't tell if you are a fan or a creep, on the streets. Concerts, Musters, Fan club meetings, Fan Signs were always ways to meet them Official.

That's Jimin's part in the MV, it's iconic and JK always roasts Jimin for that, he even did it in the Busan concert, the PTD concerts in Las Vegas, he pretty much does it everywhere if he can get away with it. It's sweet dig and I love it when he does it.

And BTS communicates with ARMY so that when they do personal trips, they do sweet posts to head things off before anything happens. If you see these SNS posts, you'll know what I mean. Of course, Big Hit also posts notifications as a reminder but the personal posts from the members can be witty yet gentle reminders.

2022-11-30 05:24:26 +0000 UTCI think your the first person I've seen react to those people approaching them asking for pictures with questioning if that's a good idea. And I think it can be hard on the members because they feel bad saying no but it's for good reasons: 1. They are filming so technically working 2. If they do it for one person people will feel upset if they don't for others 3. It does risk their safety, if the pics are posted saesangs can find them. Which is exactly what happened in Sweden that we didn't see on camera was when they started to leave that cafe they did get swarmed by some fans. The production crew stepped in but they only had a small crew at the time. I think also they may have inadvertently drawn too much attention to them when they asked them to dance, they were just having fun with the members and being spontaneous (like the director said he was half joking but Jhope seemed willing to dance) but I don't blame them for not realizing that at the time. They were not as huge as they are now so I don't think the crew was thinking they would be so easily recognized like that. If I saw them I'd either freeze or run away in fear lol But that's me 😂I'd be too nervous to say anything to them & I'd probably be so in shock I wouldn't be able to think straight. Yeah RM lost his passport, that's what I meant on my comment on a previous episode with the pranks backfiring because I'm sure he thought it was a joke at first that he had to leave and even you thought they must have hidden his bag from him. Suga is pretty savage (there are compilation videos on it), he was more so in the early years and I think it has a lot to do with his upbringing being from Daegu, he use to speak very blunt (I think he got this from his mom too cuz she can be kinda savage blunt too lol). I love the behind cams too. They do have an episode of Run BTS where they have their own fashion show picking out outfits for a member to wear (episode 29 I think) and they have episodes where they play arcade games including air hockey (episode 17 & 18).

What people don't think about is that when you go up to them you're not the first or last person to request a pic the day, or even that hour. At some point the guys do have to go about their day, and then what? I think the decision was made that it's better to just say no to everyone than to pick and choose when to say yes. I also like to think that most people wouldn't go up to them... but seeing unsafe crowds at airport, people chasing them with their cameras out trying to touch them, and secretly recording them in their private time makes me think that there are definitely a lot of people who would absolutely go up to them no matter the situation.

Bts said in an interview who is shy they said jimin a little bit BUT not on stage 😂 so true! Don't worry I'm sure it's hard to catch everything when you watch it for the first time. I would say especially season 1 the subtitles go so fast or they didn't translate some things . Like was it last episode they said it on the video yoongi was tired but they didn't put it on the subtitles. Unfortunately namjoon has to leave but I'll let you know season 2 we will get to see them all together again no one has to leave.

It features the members partaking of photoshoots around various locations in different countries for the annual photobook and a DVD with the behind the scenes of the photoshoots. Jin was the one who I was surprised was practically crippled with shyness. He like stood by himself in the back a lot of the night until he went and sat with jk and hobi and shared his drink with jk who was cheering and yelling … but Jin even put his arm around jk and it was so cute…. But then he left early… I didn’t expect that amount of shyness from him… but he’s actually an introvert like JK lol so it makes sense. Jimin said he’s an extrovert… but it doesn’t seem like it unless he knows people… ya know whatever.. they’re human right

Also I know you miss the kinda goofy comfy vibe of BTS and love the end behinds of their own cameras.. but that’s why you have to start run BTS!!! It is literally BTS playing board games, foot volleyball, skits, driving to stay at places and play games for food items and Karaoke and bbq at night, virtual reality games, go to a water park , go sledding and curling, go to a comic book cafe , bungee jump , make outfits for each other and just play around and be hilarious and precious. It may be good to start run BTS even while watching Bon voyages for that quick , cute and fun content with them along with this style of content …. Run BTS is so fun and lighthearted and you just get to see them be hilarious, chaotic and heart warming all at the same time… but it’s less serious than a lot of this can be and that spirit of like variety shows with penalties and stuff is just so funny and cute. It may be a palette cleanser if that makes sense. The first like 9 episodes are okay and there’s cute moments… but I think around the 10th which is like the second season is where it starts to find it’s footing. The first couple episodes are like 5 min each or something lol but yeh the second season is where it starts to get good… and gets better as it goes!!! There are of course the Gayo BTS episodes as well. But I think you’ll find that lighthearted piece of BTS your missing in these….. in run BTS for sure.

Jungkook has always been someone who gets quiet when working on projects bc his creative mind is exploding with ideas and he’s so focused. He’s an introvert.. but anytime they’re joking around and he’s not taking pictures he’s generally right in there with them. But his artistic mind takes over when it comes to seeing all these beautiful and majestic places. He’s always so loud and chaotic in behind the scenes older content that isn’t filled with sightseeing lol like mvs or touring… he’s always doing something funny or cute.. that’s why the members said they have the most footage of JK on their phones Lmao

2022-11-29 23:44:17 +0000 UTCFrom what I've seen and from what he's said himself Jimin is the type to be kind of shy and quiet around strangers or large crowds if he doesn't know many people but can be very loud/playful etc. when he is surrounded by people he knows and trusts. And while I do think he has gotten more confident and comfortable over the years he can still get a little shy around people he doesn't know (like in the Behind video for Hobi's album release party you can see him and Jungkook literally hiding in a dark corner because they're nervous haha but later he got more comfortable and socialised a lot)

Jimin had a slightly different persona in their early years, because he was trying his best to put up a sort of "cool guy" front. He didn't think who he actually was would be as accepted or loved. It took him a while to... for lack of a better term... love himself enough to shed that worry. There's actually a clip out there from one of their Love Myself DVDs where he talks about it a little (with a few tears). In the Soop, you saw a Jimin who is comfortable in his own skin. This younger Jimin is still working on getting there and has a few more bumps in the road ahead of him before he does.

2022-11-29 22:05:40 +0000 UTCJimin is always pretty shy when they’re not just them lol he tends to be much less assertive than the other members and more of a follower of any other member and just does whatever they’re doing kinda thing. It’s why rm sent him alone to get his suitcase in the first episode lol bc jk and tae could do it no problem.. but jimin tends to be more shy in public. You’ll notice at any award shows they do and stuff he’s always very quiet and proper… even if the others are being crazy. But with his boys he’s just himself … almost feels safe to just be a goofball lol also he’s super type A so for him to keep losing things or stuff like being late … he tends to be more quiet in that case for awhile. Like when he was late.. hobi was a little annoyed and why he kinda told jimin he had to walk lol think hobi was getting tired of ppl losing things… and you know he’s his roomie so he’s used to it but it’s better for jimin in the end. It’s out of love .. but when jimin does things wrong he tends to be more quiet for sure lol It was so sad to see rm have to go… we still see a bit of him in one or two of the episodes I believe.. but I know the boys were sad.. but making the most out of it. They all wanted jungkook to say something bc they wanted someone to cuss… and since he’s the baby he’s the only one who can get away with it lol but he just said “let’s be careful” instead 😂 I love how tae has his arm around jk after they find out bc they all love and depend on rm for English especially… but we saw how hobi and Jin take charge and know enough to get them where they need to go. So it’s sad and hard for them and for rm especially… but maybe it was a little good for them too to not have their English speaking leader who can do everything .. I’m sure they grew in that sense. And of course rm definitely gets to go to Finland after this…. So it’s okay :)

2022-11-29 22:05:03 +0000 UTCI'm not surprised, because you're really great and seem to get these things, but you're the first reactor I've seen who actually understood why they couldn't take photos (also the first person I've seen justifiably side-eyeing those people who approached them and asked if they were "k-poppers"). Taking pics and posting them to social media would alert people to where they were. Not to mention if they start taking pics it would never end. Also, I think people forget that they are technically working. Yes, they're on a trip and having fun, but filming for the show is part of their job. So, in some ways this isn't that different from someone asking for a photo while they're in the middle of shooting a music video Personally, if I saw them in the wild I'd probably run the other way 😅 I've seen stories of people doing things like hiding their RJ pin or covering anything that makes them identifiable as an ARMY when they ran into a member so they didn't make them feel uncomfortable

Especially when the posed their children next to me as though I'm someone in a Mickey Mouse costume. I didn't have to protect my identity or keep it a secret where I was though. There were also people who took my picture without asking first, which also happens to celebrities a lot. It's kind of impossible for them to be completely off the radar. You'll see as you go through the Bon Voyage seasons that their tactics and methods for how they travel have to change as their level of fame increases.

So, I've seen people walking around with cameras on them before - you just leave them be. If I were curious, I'd approach someone who ISN'T on camera (ie: one of the production crew) and ask what the project was. If I recognized them as BTS, I'd definitely leave them be. That also goes for if they weren't filming and they happened to be on a personal vacation in my town - I wouldn't want to disturb that, and I definitely wouldn't want to spread it around the internet that I saw them - so I'd just pretend that I didn't see them. Now, if I was in a secluded cafe somewhere and they walked in and sat down, and we were the only people around, I might say something - because then I know where we're in a space where I'm not bringing other people's attention to them, or interrupting them filming something. I definitely wouldn't go up to young Korean men that I didn't recognize and ask if they were "kpoppers" lol... I'm going to assume that man must have recognized them beyond them just being goodlooking Korean boys fliming something.
