Dev Log 0.18a: Lads and Landladies

I will admit, it took a lot of refreshing to get the website to display exactly this value... also maybe some HTML editing when it went past that... value. Not that this is a particularly important number, or that any of my games have any particularly fiendish themes... but you know me, I like to celebrate.

So this was another one of those weeks where, despite making the same amount of content as normal, I concentrate way too hard on one scene and then beat myself up on the inside because my changelog isn't as stacked as the girls are. On the plus side Carla's little talk is now much longer, and has proper corruption for Carla!

Lin may even pull her aside afterwards to have a little chat.

Anyway, this week has had a bit of a blast from my past. I've got a background in various VR and boutique software development among other things and a friend still involved in that stopped by to renew their Visa.

Apparently stuff I was making with them is doing pretty good work across places like notflicks and dosny. Regardless of what you think of the corporations it's still something to be proud of when you see your work at the highest levels there are. It is of course just a small part, but even small parts are important. I'm obviously gonna leave the details vague, but I can confirm that Wesley Snipes still signs his emails as "Daywalker".

That being said the week has also been a bit of a whirlwind, I spent my flexible playtime budget early on when EUG, Werey and Frederiction started playing around with a game idea that has infected me... The bastards. We're spitballing some stuff around and it will probably eventually see the light of day but I'll leave anything else up to your imagination. Of course I got stretched a little thin when my friend arrived and I went to hang out with them on top of that... but they only pop by once every 2-3 years for about a week or two anyway.
