Dev Log 0.15b: History

First of all, As usual for a B week, Preview tier get your preview release! 

After that well, this weeks stuff. First of all it started with inspiration, which is always a fantastic start. Some of the various interactions between characters again, in C1 Sami is a lot more willing to bend to the various other corruption levels around her. You see this in the Alex bedcrawl, now you see it when Lin goes on an adventure with you to your room.

Easy knocked it out in an afternoon, renders, videos and all.

After that I got stuck into a scene Fantasy had written for adapting a hot tub scene between MC Alex and Haily. It's got parts of that dream in it but it's a more realistic bent, and Haily isn't quite pushed far enough to give up her secret yet. But an intrinsic part of this is that Alex is there, and by this stage of the game who Alex is could be up for debate. Does she just enjoy talking with everyone about what might make her breasts bigger and the ramifications of pregnancy (Should this scene be turned off with the pregnancy toggle? No ones pregnant, they just talk about it)... or is she a little more proactive. These are two very different scenes. And they are both a lot of fun, I'm glad I got to do both of them... Why is it thursday?

Wealp, thursday is render day and Alex and Haily both need a full set of new renders so they can be as cool and dynamic across these scenes as Sami and Carla are. It's quarter to two in the morning now (not unusual) and only Alex is done, she has a lot of sprites, a dozen poses across half a dozen costumes (And I forgot to do some). Really I had wanted her done ages ago but I just wasn't happy with the poses I was coming up with and it was a bit of a blocker on the new sprites for everyone. I'm really happy that it's essentially done now as it will let me move on to other characters... I couldn't really skip Alex, she is the poster girl after all.

At the end of the day (Week) it's another pile of work I can be proud of though. Even if I get the feeling I got a bit sloppy on the details near the end though. Character sprite updates will always effect the entire game.

Also the pic is from way back near launch when another dev put put the call for movie posters for their game and wanted to use other games. I don't think Cabin was picked, they were all about Daz and this is an HS2 game. After all consistent aesthetics are important.
