Public Release Version 0.12d and Dev Log 0.13d: The Jiggling

As usual the public release will be a little further down. But today I get to release Version 0.12, which is one I'm proud of.

For this week there is an update to taking Sami down to the lake, now you can actually get those swimming lessons she promised. If Haily is there she might try to join in... don't worry, everyone survives. The scene does still also have all it's old options buried in it as well, although some have been extended due to the new level of corruption. Unfortunately that is the only scene I managed to get done this week. Pushed as hard as I could and this is the result.

Really, just some of the general stressors from the past few weeks has hit me right in the mojo. Which is sad because I need my mojo. But at the same time I tend to talk a lot about how I sometimes don't meet my own expectations. I don't know if I've talked about why before but I feel I should cover it again anyway. I'm not actually a negative person in life.

I have always felt that you should identify your flaws, so that you can do better next time. Part of every development log is like a breakdown of my successes and failures. In this case, how does one get back the mojo? I think one of the parts of it is that when push comes to shove, I take chunks out of my day off. I mean look at me here, second week in a row of going through the whole of it with this stuff. It works in the short run but it had been a theme for a while before this. Really though, since I went full time I might only have had 2-3 days where I woke up knowing there wasn't any work to do.

I wanted to fit more in to each week so I threw more and more time at the problem. This only works for so long... I promised to take care of myself and when I found out about this one, it was clear I had been missing a step. The added stress from this extra stuff really pointed that out. So I'm gonna just take tomorrow off, clear my mind, play some games and then get back into it with abandon (in moderation).
