Dev Log 0.13a: The Jiggling

Another week another build... although this week has it's stories, not interesting ones, just parts of the mundanity of life.

As usual new content this week was mostly concentrated on Sami. She is always a bit interesting but it was fun to get some more stuff of both her sides out. As it was mentioned... she gets love from the strangest things.

Primarily if she loves you enough, or is jealous enough, she will have an interaction with you when you go to leave the reunion. She can be progressed through either path and they both also have a mail that you can get. In the world of mails... 

There was a missing situation from a while back, I designed the mails from the hypnosis breast expansion thinking that there just isn't enough points to get it for both of them... missing entirely that you could just do it twice. This has been solved as you can see. Similarly last week I just plain forgot that Lin had a new mail which should have it's own new render.

Finally now that Sami can be progressed to her next corruption level, there is very little content, precisely one scene which is an upgrade to you peeking on her when changing.

Now anyway... This week I got some good news, more people want to help me write! I even had the bandwidth to let them help. A lot of people miss that you have a finite bandwidth for accepting help, if you go over that you lose more time managing people than you gain in work achieved. Previously I could just chat about all this over the DMs, but now there is an actual scene backlog with tasks and columns... this job is becoming dangerously like work :)

Although really, even at this stage I feel we are striking a good balance, I rewrite a lot of the scenes that people give me, sometimes I cut huge chunks out and sometimes they double in size. But at the same point, there is a limited amount of creativity I have to offer each week, sure that goes up and down and all that, but it is a very powerful thing to be able to lean on another persons creativity as well. Similarly when you read someone else's work you can become inspired by it and explore paths you'd never thought of.

Also sometimes you just are feeling almost negatively inspired by a scene that you know has to be written and if you try it you'll sit and stare at the screen for two days. It's nice to be able to ask for help on those.

The other news I would traditionally call bad news but really, it's just everyday life happening. As a person who exists in the world, sometimes people dump responsibilities on me. I don't go into an office anymore and I have no hours because I can make time if you need me... So people can lose respect for the fact that I do indeed have a job, even if it's self employment writing smut. Still there is a limited amount of work I am willing to attempt while my 4 year old niece is attempting to watch Paw Patrol on my second monitor for 8 hours. So you just lose a day here or there... it happens.

That's not really a down note or anything, I make sure to teach her the naughty words her parent's don't want me too.
