Dev Log 0.12c: Cleanup

Well, little late on the devlog, internet went down.

As usual, first, new things!

Well you can meet Carla who is now sunbathing on saturday. She is waiting for someone to help her with some lotion, why can't that be you? Also now if you think that before going on a run with Sami, you might want to try some stretching, Haily can turn up to investigate whats happening. Sami's big on competition though and she never really like that Haily might be stronger than her?

Beyond that there are a couple of things that I've been promising for a while and just are good to include. Stuff like proper name plates for the characters at the end of the run. Also some people like getting the mails kinda in run, so now there is a new options menu that will allow you to toggle that option.

Similarly someone was wondering if they should give the game a go but mentioned that they noped out when scraping through the CGs and noticing the pegging scene... Pretty sure all of you are cool with that scene, but that doesn't mean everyone is. And that's cool! One of the things I have always found about the adult community is that in general everyone accepts that people have different fetishes and are very supportive of that. I mean... there are some things people seem willing to fight to the death over but that's just how people are sometimes.

To create the best environment I can for people, I wanted to make a game where people don't have to worry that they might see something that turns them off. Sure I might like a scene as the creator, 90% of you might love it... but it might bring that remaining portion of you out of the mood. When you are playing a game, it's not about the creator or other people, it's about you. That's the mindset I built this with.

If you turn off a fetish, you will not see the options, you will not see it in the guide, you will not see the relevant options, mails or other content in menus. The game will feel complete without that content... Sure it technically wont be complete and while I will eventually have to route around some story aspects, it will still make sense and you shouldn't notice the excised content.

Anyway... other things... So I cleaned up all image file paths so they aren't just in a pile anymore... Made a system to track all the various sex acts so you can actually get stats on things... Cleaned up another pile of map screen code... And more... It's been a long week...

Beyond that Sami has won the poll! Carla came very close and those two do pair together in an interesting way. I always wanted to make sure my characters aren't just a copy of the archetype you see everywhere. One of the largest parts of that is what is Carla's role in the group, if you know what I mean. I've hinted at what makes her different in several places but it is going to be very nice to really show the difference as well. That being said, the primary push will be Sami, but there is love to go around.

Anyway... I feel like I was going to talk about something else as well... Hmmm... I'm being a bit rambly anyway... Catcha later.
