Persistence: Patreon Release 0.05c

Well today is a proud week for me, the guide is done. Oh what a young and naive little Nunu I was, over two months ago I thought I could just bang it out in a couple of weeks, on top of regular content! But now it is at last complete and I can come out of code land and re-enter the world of soft and fluffy boobies.

Speaking of which the end screen updates are more or less complete, which is a lot more than I thought I would get done. It does highlight several areas that could use just a little bit of love thrown their way. I moved the end of run messages from the girls from were they were into permanent unlocks on the character screens. Similarly I can probably add in a gallery of scenes for characters into that same spot which shouldn't be too much work, but that is still a later problem.

Something else that happened, I didn't get round to implementing world corruption as a cost in these buttons and that got me thinking... is it really necessary? What does it add for the player? I like it that it's a nice extra bit of gamey experience and it pushes people to explore... but why? The game's overarching plot continues to chug along very silently in the background and that is world corruption based. Perhaps I should just lean into that a bit more and stop having it as a currency? I dunno, tell me your thoughts.

Anyway yeah... this build will also go public, just not yet. My patreon reshuffle is imminent and that means that I need to start applying the actual things I plan to do. As I have said though, that doesn't effect any of you, things will be the same as they have always been.

Also I should probably do another character poll... it's well past time for that and it's a good little celebration of finishing the guide milestone.
