I-LAND EP. 2

I saw Just B (group that Jimin and Geonu debuted in) live a couple months ago and DAMN! They are incredible performers and have amazing music. You should definitely check them out.

Yes yes yes to everything you said. I’m wary on stuff like this cause as you said it seems like a wild social experiment which is good for tv but also detrimental to the boys 😭. I’m glad you’re enjoying the reactions so far! And thank you so much for becoming a Patron 🥹🫶🏾❤️

Lmaoo?? The way I just closed out of this to see you posting the episode 3 reaction is crazy 🤣 I enjoyed the first two so far! Seeing your frustration over Seon was so relatable, as well as the mess of what happened with Heeseung and the first test. He and Jay were always standouts to me from the very beginning because I liked their talent and fierce hearts, and they’re my biases to this very day. Ta-ki and Ni-ki did have a conversation regarding voting him out to Ground and Ni-ki’s reasoning was very sound and in the right place if you ask me, which is why Ta-ki didn’t have any hard feelings. I do agree though that if he was upset it still would’ve been fair for him to feel that way and the guys were right in that regard. I don’t remember if that’s a behind the scenes moment or not but I saw it while watching so I don’t remember exactly where it ended up. Geonu was always one of my faves and he did end up debuting in JustB along with Jimin. I don’t follow the group very much but happy they were still able to make it. The thing I mentioned on YouTube about the narrative pushing etc is clear when they highlight certain statements or situations that are probably out of context to play up the drama, especially when throwing in some intense music and ridiculous camera cuts, or consistently focusing on certain participants because they are high interest. Unfortunately that’s just what makes for good tv! And that doesn’t take away from how intense and cutthroat a system it was for the participants, always having to vote or be voted and bearing heavy weights of responsibility or pressure. The whole thing was definitely set up like a crazy social experiment as much as it was to build a great debut team, which is what they got in the end so can’t complain. The members worked hard during this whole thing and I’ve always been very proud of them for fighting as hard as they did. Can’t wait to watch ep 3 tomorrow!
