And the first time I really was happy with how I portrayed Astarion, too!
It's a nice marriage between my old style and somewhat new techniques because at this point I started introducing a new outline brush in the mix that will show up more prominent in the future.
Panels are actually a good thing when it comes to being overwhelmed with more complex single drawings; The simplicity and individual sections in each panel helped me stay motivated, drawing this in smaller increments until finished.
(I did cheat the system a little with making the stylistic choice to both desaturate and making it messier the further down it goes, landing on nothing but the sketchy outline and only black shading to better push the portrayed narrative)
