WIP - Gangster Hinata

Another day, another AU I find myself drawn to that features another addition to the endless Hinata collection. This time around he's the son of the boss of a local gang known as the Red Suns, based on Ems story "from the ashes": https://archiveofourown.org/works/41072433/chapters/102943968
Set during the 90s and as part of Yakuza traditions, Hinata is also very much covered in an irezumi suit.
It's definitely a new territory for me to try and immitate traditional japanese tattoo art while also making it work with my personal drawing style. Me being me I cannot just suggest the design tho, I really wanted to make a base for the tattoo I could put on this drawing (and in case I ever want to do more for this AU). So instead of drawing directly onto the image, I created a template for the tattoo itself which can be moved and warped to fit onto the body later on. It is the more time consuming solution, but it leaves me open to both accurately draw the elements that make up the tattoo and reuse it if needed.
Since it is going to be a bodysuit tho, I have to do the same for the arms still - wish me luck, haha!
