HQ!! Siblings Exchange: Drawing vs Inspo

Since the reveal of the drawing was part of a set schedule, I thought it might be fun to give some additional exclusive insight on what I did in preparation to decide on how to approach this prompt:
Whenever outfits are a focal part of a drawing (or really whenever I want to treat characters to something more than a basic shirt and simple pants), there's usually an inspo board as part of the process. sometimes I'm inspired by outfits that are part of my own wardrobe and go from there, looking up variations and combinations on fit and materials.
For this I wanted a play on unisex clothing and adding contrasting fabric to - let's be real - draw attention to appealing features of two handsome siblings. The bi(as) is strong with this one!

thank you Rute! yes inspo boards are sometimes my saving grace. The brain is usually trying to be a smartass and thinks it knows too much, so as an artist it's basically about constantly checking in with your knowledge and testing its reliablity, haha! and inspo boards are usually what help me the most to get things more precise and accurate.
