They did an amazing job re-creating scenery from FNV, especially the old NCR HQ. They didn't have to go all in like that, yet they did. I'm impressed.

2026-02-13 23:00:57 +0000 UTCActually Nat you're completely right, that abandoned theme park in the background when Coop talks with the NCR Rangers is the town of Primm outside of Vegas. In both the games and in real life Primm has rollar coasters. So yeah that actually was the real life town you were thinking of, Coop was just outside of Primm, Nevada.

The one who saves the player character's life starting the game and also the weapon Maximus was given is called Super Sledge.

A couple things you were mentioning in the ep: Prima Noctis was a tradition where a feudal lord would be allowed to sleep with a newly married bride on the wedding night before the husband. I learned about it from watching Braveheart! Pinko was slang for a Communist, and was used a lot during McCarthyism when Hollywood was trying to weed out supposed Communists.
