I'm happy you really liked the season finale. I kept hearing different reactors making it sound like it was the worst episode of the season. There's a lot to like with the different doors and what that can mean for not just Peacemaker show, but also other future DCU projects. There's could be another portal door in that prison Chris is out in. Judomaster and Bordeaux would find a way to find out what happened to Chris and try to get him back. But what if being in that dimension makes Chris stronger but brings out a darker side of him. Making him more cold blooded? Just thinking ideas of what direction they might go.

2025-12-28 19:07:49 +0000 UTCThe thing Harcourt put on her desk was the little cartoon character Rick Flag Jr had on his T-Shirt in The Suicide Squad. Nice little touch. Also the Salvation concept was from an abandoned comic idea developed by George RR Martin in the 80s where villians would be sent there permanently and the series would span centuries as a civilisation spawned from the decedents of Supervillians. The idea was shelved and DC brought the idea of a prison planet back in the 2000s with a limited series Salvation Run that led into a massive event called Final Crisis.

2025-12-28 13:34:37 +0000 UTCHey Nat sorry to disappoint you but there actually won't be a season 3 of peacemaker. Main reason a lot of people didn't actually enjoy this episode a whole lot. But to be fair this episode/ending was to set up for the rest of the DCU that James Gunn is planning to build! Thought I'd come on here and let you know that if you weren't already aware.

If you want something that’s not tied to the current film universe and therefore more standalone there’s Superman and Lois which lasted 4 seasons and wrapped last year featuring a superman and Lois that are married with twin teenage sons. And then there’s Doom Patrol which is a dark comedy about a group of misfits who’s powers came from horrific accidents that left them with mental and physical trauma. It also stars Alan Tudyk, Brendan Fraser and Matt Bomer if that helps sell it.

2025-12-27 17:40:55 +0000 UTCFun fact, the choreography of the season 2 intro had help from Eric Nally, leader of the band Foxy Shazam, whose band provided the song for the intro, Oh Lord. And the whole bit toward the end with the concert is Foxy Shazam in full doing a concert. Said band would also help out during Superman 2025, wherein Superman mentioned that his favorite band was The Mighty Crabjoys. In the mid-credits, a song is played from this fictional band. And it is written by the film's writer and director as well as DC Studios co-head James Gunn, and Eric Nally of Foxy Shazam, and performed by Foxy Shazam ft. Lou Lou Safran (daughter of DC Studios co-head Peter Safran).
