2025-12-24 23:38:40 +0000 UTCOh my gosh!! xD I've loved this movie since I was a kid. I watched this in theaters back in 1994 when this was new. I LOVE the casting in this! Holy crap, everybody hit their mark. :D The tango sequences are so much fun! lol, the stunt doubles really weren't used to their greatest ability. I LOVE the acting in this! Jamie Lee Curtis knows how to play this role! lmao, Bill Paxton was very smarmy - he was very entertaining.. I liked everybody - even the villain was played well! The dialogue was VERY over the top but in the BEST of ways! I always wind up leaving this movie with a smile on my face. A solid B+ movie in my book.

If you are looking for a new gritty intense action thriller then Denzel Washington's Man on fire is a good recommendation. alternatively if you prefer an action movie with a little more comedy in it then my personal favorite is Armageddon. Looking forward to your original Total Recall reaction. Have a great Christmas.

2025-12-22 01:28:20 +0000 UTCJust my opinion: I think Total Recall is a better movie. It's a sci-fi classic and I love it to death. I also think that Arnold's best acting in his career is True Lies. He's suave, he's charming, he's sad, he's angry, he's funny... he does it all. He got way better at acting as he went on. Everyone makes fun of him but he was even hilarious in his comedies as he went on. It's why there's no replacement for Arnold now. I guess the closest would be The Rock but he doesn't have any Total Recall's, or Predator's, or Terminator's. Not yet anyway.
