yeah agree with most of your points. with season 1 it felt like i had so many things to say about the show, i was excited even roped in a few of my friends to watch it with me but season 2 sort of deflated all that excitement and it indeed was because of how the blood and cheese was handled. and also +1000 to everything you said about defanging alicent and rhaenyra they both (and their counsels) came off very incompetent imo, and I think the gaps just made this show into a perfect fandom show because the takes and the headcanons that are being spinned as though they are an actual part of the canon are wild. As always great work this deserves so much more views than I saw it getting on YT.

"Sorry, I don't like Renly. It's not pride anymore; I don't have to lie." Gotta keep it real lol. I've read the book and was open to the Blood & Cheese adaptive changes, because (at the time I saw S02E01) I had faith that the showrunner had a plan and a strong vision. By the end of season 2, I had about as little faith as I did at the end of Game of Thrones season 7. HotD season 2 was better than GoT season 7, but the damage done is similar. Now, I find myself nitpicking instead of enjoying the ride, and that's a bummer. Great point though about Rhaenyra's story in the book and what it potentially tells us about Daenerys' fate generations later. (PS: less important, but I like all your looks in the video!)
