no notes. as someone who has been in fandom and reading stuff on ff.net, LiveJournal, etc., way before I was "supposed to" the kids will find a way and they will be alright. no fanfic or romance book has made me do bad things in the world. let people enjoy things. media literacy is lacking though and i don't know how to fix it for the adults out there. we can do things in schools, but these adults with zero media literacy.... ??? I'm open to anything to help.

I rarely do any public posts about romantasy books, sci-fi/romance books because i really am tired of that inability to just sit and talk about the escapism as also a piece of media and a thing that we paid for. it's a product and products need actual reviews.

We're so used to female characters being overly sexualized and exploited for the male gaze that some people just cant see any of the nuances when it comes to sex in media

No baby, I just want a good book, I promise you the romance and smut bits are not the issue π "sometimes the world building is just not built" really hits the nail on the head
