[early access/updated] Why should we care about True Crime?

I just realized the nebula version is 50 minutes longer than the youtube?!? You are literally my favorite Nebula creator rn, this is worth it.

Yeah, my law school was unusual in two ways that shouldn't be unusual. First, it taught practical skills. (Yes, that's unusual.) Second, the profs were free to discuss practical problems with the US legal system (privatization, judicial corruption, prosecutorial misconduct, tactical law suits, tactical settlements, consumer arbitration, 80% of all tort reforms, etc.). It's a mess, let's say.

Pretty strong endorsement if someone with a law background relates. I'm glad to hear this was at least addressed while you were in school! I feel like it may be a good thing if your professor shared willingly.

Cracking into this now! I have nebula but miss commenting, so figured I'd join here :) realizing you were on Nebula and actually upload extra content there got me using that app again, plus kept me busy between big videos XD Refreshed by the look early on at how Black people react to defund the police as well as why many do become cops. I'm not into the "true crime" genre and I rarely see it in the framework of the "mundane" criminal justice system. Lol at Springsteen and 'big tittied idiot,' that's a big mood from me lmao. Your editing and narration/dictation remain an enjoyable delight. I love the mariage of a scripted narration but also editing to keep moving at a snappy pace (which i guess makes sense or it'd be 2-3 hours haha). Still have half the video left but I am pleasantly surprised so far since I expected a straight critique of the True Crime Genre but instead got actual, meaningful background of old cases that really set the framework for what *became* the True Crime Genre? Love it Also, 45 in.. HOLY SHIT AAAAAA!!!!

It's taken me some time to find time to watch this, but it is very well done. Law school taught me about *so many* shortcomings in the legal system and in the police. It's downright horrifying. My CrimLaw professor shamed herself as a prosecutor for several of her own actions as a baby lawyer in the prosecutor's office, but it didn't stop there. Just in that one class, and I had many. A bit of ex-lawyer knowledge: I will confirm. NEVER TALK TO A GODDAMNED COP. Get a lawyer, let them talk. Also, please stop lying to your lawyer. I can tell you, if you're a lawyer and you have a client, your client has lied to you at least once. And you have no way of knowing if they lied about something important to the case, how much they've lied, etc. But they have lied. Please stop lying to your lawyer. I know you'll still lie, but I can dream.

Very insightful and well done video. The research you did really shows here. I remember in high school (2013) that a classmate from Italy INSISTED that Amanda Knox was "evil" despite most evidence at this time leaning towards her innocence.

Hayden Wilder

Wonderful video with a great structure to it! Also, had a minor out of body experience with your burner phone tangent. Also don't make long term plans with your side girl! I have seen Multiple marriages end bc duder decided to get an annual theme park pass with the other woman. 😱

Haley Callahan

the perfect way to end my day! bout to watch!
