Notice: Distribution date is delayed

Hi, patrons!

I hope everyone is safe and sound.

It's not easy to tell those waiting for MEO2 distribution to wait a little more.

The distribution has been postponed to this Saturday. But, of course, I won't let your wait be in vain. Also, as mentioned a few times, even if your subscription ends in May, I will still send you MEO2. And I want to keep you informed of the progress of MEO2.

A State of Progress

I have created about 110 images and have done both text and proofreading(ver 1.0). The text is as long as MEO2-1, but I tried not to be a boring explanation this time. And I submitted MEO2 (ver 1.0) made so far for release on A3D. The release of A3Dstore was an unavoidable choice because delaying could cause harm to other artists and A3D staff.

MEO2 version 1.0

Let me talk a little bit more about A3D version of MEO2. MEO2 will be released on A3Dstore in a few days. It'll probably release a bit faster than MEO2 you'll get, but as mentioned above, it's MEO2 ver 1.0. So A3D store's MEO2 will also be updated to ver 1.1 when MEO2 is distributed to you. And if you are a frequent visitor to A3Dstore or A3D, please beware of spoilers. A3D will have a banner from MEO2 containing spoilers that I didn't show you in the preview.

To version 1.1

I need to make the scenes now: the climax, ending, and escape from Clowns. I plan to make the second half of MEO2 at least 150 to 170 images.

Why am I late?

I am afraid to postpone the distribution of my work. Because it could be a habit. So I am careful not to develop this habit. Even if there is something I don't like about my work, I think it's good to distribute it on the first promised date, unless that's a big deal.

But when I make a piece, sometimes I get completely immersed in it and spend a lot of time creating other scenes than the planned one. It's a good habit as an artist, but it increases my working time and delays the release. So it's not always a good thing. Especially in MEO2, it was hard for me to resist the urge to create the scenes I wanted to make. So I haven't finished the scenes we need.

In June

It will soon be June. Therefore, after releasing MEO2 this weekend, I will start working on my next piece after a very short break. So I will make sure that the delaying of MEO2 does not affect the quantity and quality of the following work.

Work Process

I would like to take this opportunity to share with you a brief overview of my work schedule for one month. There are a total of 4 steps in my month.

First, Conception and Break:

At this time, voting is open for my next project. Therefore, I can fully rest at this time. However, I collect rough ideas for the upcoming work through the interim results of the voting. This period is approximately 3 to 6 days.

Second, Materialization:

I start making what I need to make this month's work based on the voting results. At this point, I create or modify characters, costumes, backgrounds, stories, and scene tests. Also, attempts are made for new art styles, etc. I do a lot of work, but not many results I can share with you. But finally, I can create wallpaper with the new material. This period varies from project to project. A completely new project can sometimes take up to two weeks or more. In most cases, it is 7 to 10 days.

Third, Creating:

I write the text for the story and start creating the scene. There is no clear distinction between the third and fourth steps.

Fourth, Rush and Distribution:

I am swamped for 3-4 days before distribution. Sometimes I work more than 24 hours. Therefore, please understand that I will rarely return to your messages or comments during this time.

As I asked for your understanding of the more working time, I will do my best to make MEO2 your favorite episode in my work.!

Thank you!

Thank you for your suggestion! I already know VAM. And I also was considering using VAM but found out that VAM and the direction I'm pursuing are different. So, unfortunately, I won't be using it.

Thank you so much for your understanding! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’– I am working hard on MEO2. I hope you like that!

Jared999d

I also sincerely thank you for waiting for me! ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜

I recently saw a software (called VAM)recommended to you. It looks powerful and might be helpful in your work. It would be great to see long animations again!๐Ÿฅณ

Dante

Don't rush Jared. Your art is always a master piece so I'm sure everyone here is willing to wait longer for the comic <3

DesiLu

Don't push yourself too hard, dude! Take your time ๐Ÿบ

Thank you for your understanding! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

Thank you for your advice.๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’• Like the comment above, it seems that the time when I need a break is coming. After completing my next project (probably MEO3, FL7, or MSG4), I'm taking a break for a month. That would be a good thing for all of us.

Thank you for your warm words and comfort. I have continued creative activities since opening my Patreon account in 2017. Maybe it's time for me to take a break. Fortunately, Patreon also has the feature to temporarily stop the billing cycle. After work in June and July, I will take a month off. Thank you for your advice.๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‘

No worries.

yes.. don't force yourself into becoming some sort of creative robot. If schedule is to tight... loose it up by some means. If you run into next month.. those days will subtract from time to relax and from next project time... you'll start to run dry and eventually burn out. Don't do that track.

Hey dude, Don't stress man. You're doing great. Think about a vacation? You're more on time than most.
