It’s time for another round of mini stories! This time, I have fifteen slots available and, if there is higher interest, I may extend to twenty: there is no raffle with this mini story offer, as that is something I only offer at Christmas if I hit a target for myself for the year.

But I always want to offer the mini stories as I know the discount helps people out and also gives others a chance to try out new ideas in a short story form! These mini stories will run until April 30th, or until every slot is taken, and all the usual rules (see below) apply.

There have been some queries about the rules of the mini stories (such as extending them, adding scenes, including greater detail) and I want to gently confirm that these are two-sentence story briefs. They are meant to be short and sweet and allow a little more freedom to write, which is why I also offer the discount with these. I have also noticed people writing run-on, extended sentences to get around the two-sentence rule, with their plan growing increasingly detailed. Although I have not accepted this in the previous mini story round (or prior, to my recollection), this is just a quick note to re-iterate that I will not be able to accept commissions that try to get around the rules. These are to be fun for everyone!

To purchase a mini story, please e-mail arianmabe@gmail.com with the two-sentence story idea and your character details. If sending image references, please attach them to the e-mail.

As of uploading this commission opening journal, the next open writing date is April 22nd and all new commissions are booked into the next available slot on the schedule.

Rules

Limited slots (15).
You can take one slot, or more than one.
50 GBP per slot.
Each slot is 2,000 words.
Two-sentence brief for each story/slot.
Character edits only for physical detail corrections (e.g. hair colour, markings) due to discounted rate.
- If you have any queries on the edits that are covered, as these are limited with discounted commissions, please ask before commissioning.
SFW or NSFW – all accepted!
Slots cannot be joined together to make one longer story; these are individual mini stories.
If long, run-on sentences are supplied for the “two-sentence” brief, this will be assessed before payment is taken to ensure it can be covered in a mini story.
Your story can be marked as anonymous for free (or be kept private for a fee, if preferred).
Please send your story brief and character details by e-mail. Images should be image attachments to the e-mail ideally. Text should be in the body of the e-mail for these mini stories, please.
Your story will be added to the next open slot on the schedule (the writing date will be confirmed with you by e-mail when booking).
Slots will not be held without payment.
Slots CLOSE April 30th 2025 at midnight, or when all slots are taken.
