Robin sat on the commode watching her husband Jason lower his soapy leg back into the tub as he put down a pink ladies’ razor.
“Like what you see, Sweetie?” Asked Jason.
Robin licked her lips and moved to the side of the tub, “Very much, darling,” Robin answered as she picked up the razor Jason had just put down, “But you missed a couple spots.”
Jason frowned and lifted his leg back out of the water. Robin ran the blade sensually along Jason’s calf and he sucked in a breath.
Robin inspected her handy work and then smiled at her husband, “There you go my love. Now your legs are as smooth as yours,” Robin thought for a moment and then smiled, “well, your everything else.”
The two shared a kiss. “What would I ever do without you?”
“Let’s hope we never have to find out,” answered Robin getting up and heading for the door.
Jason rinsed his leg and stood up. Robin’s heart fluttered. Robin rose and started for the door. “Not going to help me dry off?” Jason asked.
Robin handed Jason a towel, mesmerized by her husband’s feminine hourglass body. “I would love to hun, but we have to get a move on or we’re going to be late for the dinner.”
“You say that like it would be a bad thing,” Jason grumbled.
“We have been over this a hundred times,” Robin sighed. “It’s a protégés award and you have to be there to accept it, in person.” Robin started for the door but then snuck a peek at her husband’s backside as she paused at the door frame. “Chop, Chop, sweetie” Robin called out over her shoulder.
“Yes, dear,” Jason called after her.
Robin walked over to where she had laid out their dresses this afternoon. “You have come up with every excuse in the book as to why you don’t want to go to the award ceremony tonight,” Robin called out to the room at large.
Robin finished putting on her makeup. “I knew I would need to be ready for anything,” Robin explained as Jason came up behind her. “I made sure that nothing could go wrong,” Robin said as she stood, done with her makeup and hair.
“I just don’t know about that dress,” Jason said as he looked over to the bed at his new vintage dress.
It was teal, backless, and had a halter top. Jason was still looking at his new dress when Robin motioned Jason to sit. She then turned her husband’s face towards the mirror and said, “That dress is perfect. It is going to show off not only your shoulders but also your new breast forms.” Not to mention your rear, Robin thought to herself. Robin began to nuzzle Jason’s ear. “Everything is going to be fine, babe,” Robin whispered into Jason’s ear. Then a little louder, “Now put your face on.”
Jason saluted, “Yes, ma’am.”
Jason started to apply his makeup. Robin simply watched as Jason became Jordyn. “What?” Asked Jason, instinctively raising his voice into a falsetto so it sounded more feminine.
“Nothing. you are just so good at that now,” Robin answered honestly, “when I first started showing you how to apply makeup you were totally lost. I thought I would be doing your makeup for you, for-ev-er.”
Jason began to daydream. Robin could not help herself she moved in to kiss him but Jason held up his hand to stop her, “Lipstick sweetie.”
Robin smiled down at Jason appreciatively. “Of course,” Robin stepped back then swooped in and kissed Jason on the head.
“Hey,” Jason remarked, Flinching away, giving her a cheeky smile.
“What?” Robin asked and then started brushing Jason’s hair.
Robin then changed the subject, “I am so glad you let me talk you into this shaggy pixie cut,” Robin put her chin on Jason’s shoulder, “it makes you look so much younger.”
“Thank you,” Jason said smiling for the first time tonight, “Yeah, I didn’t like that wig at all.”
“Really,” Robin asked, “I thought it was cute on you.”
“Yes but,” Jason finger-combed his short hair, “I prefer the real deal.”
“Me too,” Robin agreed.
“I’m just grateful I got my mother’s father’s hair jeans and not dad’s father’s,” Jason explained
“You mean old cueball, Baily?” Robin asked chuckling.
“That’s the one,” Jason answered then began to think, “but then again, maybe if I didn’t have any hair the wig would fit better.”
Robin shivered comically. “Let’s worry about that down the road.”
“Deal.”
Jason and Robin walked hand in hand over to the bed. Jason sat and took a stocking in his hands. Robin just sat back and just watched as Jason put one of the hoses over his toe. He then closed his eyes, and slowly started rolling the stocking up his leg. Robin watched him do one leg and then the other. Jason looked back at her. His expression turned to one of worry. “Am I doing it wrong?” he asked.
“No, you’re doing it perfectly,” Robin said and then her face turned sheepish, “you just look so,” She thought for a moment, “in raptured when you put your stockings on. Like you just bit into an especially good chocolate bar.”
“I do?”
“Yes, you do and OMG is it hot,” Robin exclaimed moving to sit next to Jason.
“I love you, Robin,” said Jason as his eyes began to tear.
“Oh, sweetie,” said Robin as her eyes moistened. She leaned in and gave Jason a hug. “I love you too. I love you so much.”
“Thank you for sticking with me Robin,” Jason pulled back so he could look Robin in the eye, “Thank you for letting me not only become Jordyn but for pushing me to do so.”
“J,…Jordyn,” Robin started stroking the back of Jason’s head, “That’s who you are. I admit that at first, I was shocked. Then I thought it was never going to work. I figure you’d play dress up for a few months and then you get over it.”
“Get over it?” Jason asked and sniffled a little.
“Yes, get over it,” Robin confirmed, “I thought dressing like a girl was just a phase. At most a fetish. I figured you would wear panties and bras for a couple of weeks. We would go shoe shopping and you would watch a whole bunch of HRT testimonials online and then you would…”
“I would what?” Jason asked growing a little upset.
“Then you would tell me you were tired of being a woman,” Robin went on, “That it was too hard. That you were going back to being a guy.”
“You did?” Jason asked as he pulled back and his countenance turned a little angry.
Robin was crying by this point. She nodded yes.
“I don’t know what to say,” Jason responded honestly and slightly shocked.
Robin locked eyes with her husband and just let her heart pour out, “I didn’t understand then that Jordyn is who you are, who you should have been, and the woman I hope you will always be.”
“So, you’re not ashamed of me?” Jason asked testing the waters. “You like me as Jordyn, right?”
Robin whipped away several tears, “No, I don’t like you as Jordyn.”
Jason held his breath.
“I love you as Jordyn,” Robin finally said, “I love you more than anything in this world.”
The two kissed passionately. They hugged and just sat there on the edge of the bed holding each other. Finally, Jason pulled away and said, “Well, now we’re really going to have to hurry. We both have to redo our makeup.”
Robin just laughed.
Thirty minutes later Robin and Jason were doing final checks of each other’s dresses, hair, and makeup. Robin looked deep into her husband’s eyes and began to chuckle. Jason’s facial expression turned serious as he asked, “what’s wrong?”
Robin smiled and then answered, “Nothing. It’s just that you are by far the prettiest salesman of the year ever.”
