The Makeup Curse (Part 2)

Makeup Curse part 2

Slamming the car door behind him, Ross jumps into the passenger seat and immediately ducks for cover. Becca, laughing out loud, takes her time to sit in the driver's seat.

“Bexs!” Ross whines, trying his best to hide his face behind his long hair. “Can you hurry up and get in.”

Still laughing, Becca slowly closes the door and turns to Ross with a huge grin on her face.

“Don’t be so grumpy!” Becca giggles. “Honestly, with my clothes on and that face of makeup, no one will know it’s you.”

Giving her nervous boyfriend a reassuring look, she leans over and brushes the hair from his eyes. Tucking it behind his ears, Ross looks away and goes bright red.

“I’d rather you didn’t hide that pretty face of yours,” Becca comments as she gently touches his face. “Don’t look so worried, it won’t be long until your makeup-free and back into your own clothes.”

Fidgeting around in the car seat, clearly in discomfort thanks to his feminine skinny jeans, Ross tries his best to free up some space around his crotch.

“I hope so,” he replies. “I feel like it’s going up inside me right now.”

Becca looks down between his legs, then rubs her chin deep in thought.

“Probably should have worn a skirt,” she says as she points at his bulge. “Do you want me to go back upstairs and get you one to wear?”

Ross shakes his head vigorously in disagreement.

“Please no!” he pleas. “Can we just get going!”

As the car shudders to life, Becca turns to give Ross and sarcastic smirk.

“Just don’t forget about me when you start getting all the male attention!” Becca laughs mockingly. “Such a stunning young woman like you, they are going to be lining up!”

“Becca!” Ross growls and slumps in his seat. “Shut up and just drive!”

“Okaaay then,” Becca answers, rolling her eyes.

The journey to the mall was a little awkward for them both. Ross wasn’t even trying to hide the fact he was annoyed at her. Every so often she’d try to start a conversation, but he’d either grunt or give a single word answer.

Pulling into the car park, away from all the other cars, Becca turns the engine off. As they both sit in silence, Becca looks to give him further reassurance. Placing her hand gently on his knee, she gives him a determined look

“Ross,” she says with genuine empathy. “I know this isn’t what we had in mind for the rest of the evening, but once we’ve got the makeup off we can go out for dinner, my treat.

Brushing stray strands of hair from his vision, Ross looks up and gives her a small smile.

“For real?” he responds in surprise. “I thought you had no money?”

Happy that Ross was finally speaking with her again, Becca’s eyes grew wide with joy.

“Totally!” she answers instantly. “I think I at least owe you that. I mean, it’s kinda my fault your out dressed as you are.”

Giving her a firm nod, Ross looks down at himself and lets out a small awkward laugh.

“Yeah it is!” he laughs. “I just hope I don’t draw attention to the fact I’m a dude in his girlfriend's clothing.”

Moving her hand to his upper thigh, Becca leans over.

“Honestly,” she says softly as she looks deep into his deep brown eyes. “You look fantastic. I’m actually a little jealous of how good that jacket looks on you.”

“You really think so?” he passionately asks.

Hiding her smirking, sniggering face, she steps out of the car. She wasn’t lying, she really does think he looks good. She was smirking about was how excited he was when she told him.

Leaning back into the car, she wipes the smirk from her face and gives him a serious look

“Are you coming Joss?” she asks.

Shutting her door, she watches Ross awkwardly step out of the car. He was almost like a young gazelle learning to walk for the first time. She couldn’t help but chuckle as he desperately fights his hair blowing in the wind.

“Here!” Becca insists as she runs around the car to hold out a single hair tie. “Tie your hair into a ponytail.”

Agonizing seconds pass as Becca watches Ross fight with his long hair. She wanted to help, but she had a feeling that it would be better for him to learn for himself.

She knew her assumption was correct once he’d finally got it tied up. The pure genuine happiness on his face was something so new and exciting. She’d never seen him light up like it before

“Good work!” Becca says congratulating him. “You can keep that hair tie. I’ve got loads more.”

Swaying his ponytail from side to side, like a young girl doing it for the first time, he smiles back at her.

“Thanks,” he replies and leans in for a kiss.

Without thinking about their current situation, Becca and Ross share a passionate moment of public affection.

As their lips come together, the taste of the lip gloss on Ross’s lips makes Becca realize the mistake. In a gentle, but bashful movement, Becca pushes Ross away.

“Becca?” Ross asks with wondering concern.

Still blushing, Becca couldn’t believe how she was feeling. If anyone had just seen them kiss, they would have seen two young women being passionate together. She felt embarrassed, feeling so excited about potentially being seen kissing another girl.

Confused and unsure how to respond, she throws her arms up and wraps them around his shoulders. Pulling him in for a tight embrace, she presses her lips against his ears

“Sorry,” she whispers gently. “I do still really love you and I’d never usually break up a kiss from you, but you make a very convincing girl and I’m worried someone might see us.

“Oh….yeah,” Ross replies and allows her to break their embrace. “Sorry, I forgot for a moment there too.”

“Yeah….,” Becca says, as she brushes hair from her eyes. “We’ve gotta hurry, come on!”

Allowing Ross to walk out in front, heading towards the entrance to the mall, Becca follows behind. Quickly catching up to him, she places both her hands on his hips. As he continues walking, she starts swaying his hips from side to side.

“Walk with more attitude in your hips,” she comments as she continues to guide him. “You’ve gotta try and walk like you’ve got nothing between your legs.”

Expecting Ross to throw her advice back In her face, she is pleasantly surprised. Like teaching someone to ride a bike, she gradually lets go of his hips and he continues walking with a hip-swaying motion.

“That’s it!” she cheers and catches back up to walk beside him. “Also, when standing, be loose. Let your body be feminine and don’t worry about what men might be thinking.”

As they reach the entrance, Ross gives her a puzzled look.

He doesn’t get to question her before he starts feeling extremely uncomfortable. Although the ponytail meant he didn’t have hair in his eyes, he now had nowhere to hide his face. In the crowded entrance to the mall, being dressed in his girlfriend's clothes, he hopes too high heaven no one will recognize him.

“It’s this way!” Becca cries as she grabs his hand and pulls him.

Concentration extremely hard on acting feminine and walking as Becca had suggested, he doesn’t take much notice of the direction they take. As they stop in front of a storefront, he starts to become extremely aware of all the looks he’s getting.

“Becca…?” Ross says nervously as he pushes his body against her back. “People are giving me weird looks. I think they know.”

“Ah crap!” Becca groans, ignoring his concerns. “It’s closed!”

“What!” Ross moans as he looks up at the shutters covering the door. “No way!”

Thundering up to the shutters, Ross turns to look back at Becca with flared nostrils and an angry stare.

“I don’t understand…,” Becca admits as she looks around at the closed store. “My phone said it would be open!”

“Well, it isn't!” Ross barks and stamps his feet. “What the heck am I going to do now!”

Wanting to comfort him, Becca stands closer and wraps her arms around his sides. Ross doesn’t resist, he allows her to pull him in close.

“I’m sorry!” Becca says as she drops her head and rests her forehead on his shoulders. “I honestly didn’t plan any of this!”

Bring his arms around her, he kisses the top of her head.

“I know,” he says forgivingly. “I’m just so darn confused by all of this!”

Lifting her head, she looks directly into his eyes. She is surprised to see tears running down his cheeks.

“Let's go find a quiet cafe,” Becca suggests, wiping a single tear from his face. “Then we can talk about it.”

“Ok,” Ross replies and hugs her tighter. “I Love you so much.”

“I love you too,” Becca answers with a smile.
