2026-01-23 01:13:27 +0000 UTCIMO, the Hobbit trilogy felt weak overall—it's padded with fillers and contrived subplots to turn a short book into three epic-length films. I wouldn't want to put Biss through 9 hours in the chair for something that's marginally reaction-worthy. Instead, it'd be better if she just reacted to standout scenes (like the Riddles in the Dark sequence or the barrel escape), which could still deliver fun highlights without the slog. On the Bond front, as a fan of Ian Fleming's books and the films they inspired, I don't think they'd land well with Biss. She is sensitive to outdated portrayals of women, and even if these movies reflect their era, they can still detract from her enjoyment and ours. The Daniel Craig entries are the safest bet—they're more modern and grounded—but they do weaken progressively after Casino Royale. I’d go with either Lethal Weapon or Superman. Those would probably generate the most positive feelings both for the viewer and, most importantly, the reactor. 😊
