Being a Marine, I'm partial to The Pacific. It's my favorite. Of course, Band of Brothers is a real master work of historical value and I love it as well but Masters of the Air has special meaning to me as my father was part of the B-17 bomber group depicted in the series. He only spoke of his time in the war very few times. He lost a lot of friends. This series gives me a glimpse into his world at the time.

2024-03-03 22:10:16 +0000 UTCBand of Brothers is by far my favorite of the 3. I've been waiting a long time for Masters of the Air to come out and to be honest, I'm kinda disappointed with it. I do like it, but not as much as I was expecting to. I would probably still put it over The Pacific. I feel like the cast of Band of Brothers had a genuine comradery with each other that really came through in their performances. I know the cast still has annual reunions. I haven't felt that with the other 2 series, although Masters of the Air has probably done a better job with that than The Pacific.
