Great reaction, but why did you have the subtitles off? They have everything they said in sign language as subtitles at the bottom of the screen.

I'd like to point out how deeply emotional this. Not something you get much at all in these type thriller/horror films. And easily one Biss best reactions too. Thank you for doing this. And a few fun facts about this movie, John Krasinski was hired to rewrite and direct the initial spec script. The first plan was to make this the fourth movie in the Cloverfield franchise but Krasinski felt this could stand on its own. This was filmed in upstate New York. The actress who played Regan Abbott is Millicent Simmonds. And she is a deaf actress. Krasinski wanted a deaf actress who could legitimately play the role of the deaf daughter and who can share and teach what is like to be deaf. Initially, Emily Blunt was not interested in being cast as the mother, but after reading John's rewrite of the script they both decided to be cast as the parents. The creatures were inspired by bats which are blind and use echolocation. The motion capture that was done for the creatures was done mostly by Krasinski himself. This was due to the somewhat low budget of film. Production cost of the movie was 17 million dollars. Theatrical box office was 341 million dollars. A very successful movie.

2023-10-21 18:03:00 +0000 UTCThe only thing that bothered me about this was that they didn't build a settlement at the waterfall where the creatures never go. Other than that, great story, great concept, great acting. 12 out of 13 stars.
