Tropic Thunder is hit or miss. It's fun but it feels vapid to me. V for Vendetta is good, but always felt a bit awkward. The Martian is probably technically the best movie of the bunch, but it takes itself a bit too serious. Independence Day is probably the best popcorn movie, my pick, but it's a little over the top. I liked all four, I generally liked all four movies in the last poll better.

2023-04-19 00:24:18 +0000 UTC"Tropic Thunder" is great, but I think it's too American and too film meta for Biss to enjoy this early. Might be better after more movie reactions, I think. I vote "The Martian", but I hope she's keeping a 'losers' list for later polls.
