Watch Predator with Arnold, classic film that would NOT be made today.

Also if you enjoyed T1 and T2 enough and if you ever have time there is a made for TV series called Terminator the Sarah Conner Chronicles which fits between T2 and T3. It ran for 2 seasons and features Lena Headey (Cersei from GOT)as Sarah. Oddly coincidental T5 stars Emila Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen from GOT) as Sarah. And in T6 Dark Fate Linda Hamilton makes her return as Sarah Conner. Best of all Arnold is in all Terminator movies.

Interesting this is not the same movie that I saw in the Theatre in 91. Was this an extended version or alternate ending version? I think I remember seeing the DVD release included some stuff like that. Any way you got a ton of comments on the yt post probably already know this but Sarah aka Linda Hamilton has a real life identical twin sister and any scenes that included two sarahs was actually Linda and her sister.

This one actually fooled you a bit. I think there's something to be said for that. :-) Graphics were way better, no? On to the next!

Thank you for watching this version of Terminator. This is the "Special Directors Cut" version, it's about 20 minutes longer than the original 1991 theatrical cut. I saw this when it first came out, and I think it still holds up pretty well today. All movies today can base their special effects off the work done on this movie, Jurassic Park and The Abyss. Anyways glad you liked the movie, but I am curious to watch a movie you pick on your own. The type you would watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Overall Thoughts: This film is a blast but I personally prefer the first film at least in it's tone, art direction, and music that very 1980s thriller feel combined with the neon synth depiction of 1980s L.A. But this film is amazing it's like Alien vs Aliens both are great films but very different so it really comes down to your own personal taste. Also just love the production design as well in T2, first film had a lower budget so naturally hasn't aged as well but T2's practical effects look amazing in this film such as the T-800s and model tanks and aircraft look really good. Terminator Timeline: The timeline gets a little confusing now with the later films. The actions of Sarah Connor and the T-800 in this film creates a new timeline that leaves the future open. This is the timeline where the next two movies are set both T3 and Salvation. Then we have Terminator Genisy which I'll not go into details as it's very easy to spoil that film and finally Dark Fate two films I can't really talk about without spoiling. Pretty much they're not connected to this timeline, movies will explain why. Original Timeline Terminator: 1984 - Sarah Marked for Termination, Saved by Kyle Reese. Judgement Day: 1997 - Nuclear Holocaust. Future War: 2029 - Skynet Defeated, T-800 sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor. Terminator: 1984 - Loop around. New Timeline: Terminator: 1984 - Sarah Saved Terminator 2: 1995 - Stops Judgement Day? Terminator 3 Terminator Salvation. Genisy Timeline: Terminator Genisys Dark Fate Timeline: Terminator: 1984 - Sarah Saved Terminator 2: 1995 - Stops Judgement Day? Terminator Dark Fate Closing Thoughts: So pretty much if you want a straight forward storyline I recommend T3 and Salvation next. If you want something more wild and very different watch Terminator Genisy and if you want a closer sequel to Terminator 2 I recommend Dark Fate. I personally like Dark Fate myself and like parts of Genisy but I know there's people who just say "Naw only watch the first two movies". T3 I don't mind and Salvations is a movie I personally really enjoyed so I still think you'll like the other movies as well.
