I really should check here more often. 2 days late, but I watched it. though I have seen it maybe at least 10 times, some of the jump scares still get me. the running around at the end was just for suspense. will you react to the other parts too? I liked 2 the best, can't remember much of 3, so it probably wasn't that good. as mentioned earlier, the predator and then alien vs. predator is fun to watch. maybe for patreon night?

You keep asking how they did the scenes. A lot of the older movies used a lot of miniature models. When you get through your Star Wars run, check out the Lucas Films/Industrial Light & Magic documentary on how they made the early Star Wars films.

100% recommend Aliens as well a very different film in terms of Style but amazing and regarded as one of the best sequels of all time alongside Terminator 2 also directed by James Cameron. Usually you'd want to capture what made the last film so great but with Aliens they went in a new direction and it payed off. In terms of what films the best it really depends on which style you prefer as both films are amazing. Alien 3 I enjoyed for the most part while Alien: Resurrection I didn't much care for so I personally would say watch Aliens and then if you feel like it watch Alien 3 if you want to see where the story does. There's also the Predator films and then Alien VS Predator so there's a bunch of films that you could dive into focused around Aliens and Predators.
