But this movie certainly is the best movie ever.

If the ending happened in 2025 then Mitsuha would have lived in 2017 when the meteor hit the town while Taki would have lived in 2020 and the ending would be 2025 The day before the meteor Mitsuha went to Tokyo and gave the hairtie to Taki who still has 3 years until she knows who she is.

Funny random unwanted fact of my life: my ex was a big fan of the titanic movie (im not) she wanted to see the movie with me, so the movie started and the titanic movie song comes up at the begining, she started crying only because of the song, so me a MAN(tm) made fun of her for crying just because of the song. Fast forward, every time a rewatch this movie and songs starts playing at the begining I cry
