So I have a theory, I did already have one at this point in the show too when I first watched it. This is just my opinion and in no way have I read the manga or know what everything actually means or whatever. This isn't a spoiler, this is my own thoughts. So let me share my thoughts a bit. Everyone has seen Ruby's and Aqua's eyes resemble one of Ai's eyes. They are also on different sides, one is left one is right. Back when we saw Ai's eyes, the stars went black for a moment when discussing her past. Just like Aquas does sometimes. Ai's hair was pretty much purple and so were her eyes, mostly at least. Red/pink and blue make together a similar color. So you could say that putting all these "clues" together, Aqua and Ruby are both a part of Ai. I mean that's natural right, after all, they are her children. But it goes deeper, or so I think. The eyes represent Ai as well and so do Aqua's and Ruby's personalities. Ruby is very happy, bubbly, innocent even - I mean she literally contrasted Ai when she said she didn't want any lies cause that's what idols are to the fans, they sing "I love you" like it's not a lie, even though in reality it might be. You could say that it's Ai's idol side. Aqua is reserved, quiet, kinda even dark in a way, that's kinda what Ai was like when you saw her alone or back before she became an idol. And Aqua is quick to lie and make up schemes to get what he wants. Just like Ai was constantly putting up an act for everyone. What solidifies this is that the eyes reflect the same thing. The star in Aqua's eye has only ever gone dark when thinking of something bad. We see so many good things about internet, early in this episode and overall in real life when interacting with it, that everyone forgets about the ugly side of it, or at least doesn't pay as much attention to it. What people can say when being anonymous is just downright horrible. It's kind of interesting also thinking about this with regards to what is going on and what has been said in Vinland Saga. Having no enemies doesn't apply to people in real life, but on the internet too. This is to everyone reading this: I know it's easy to be angry or flame someone over the internet, but I hope after watching both of these animes you'll think at least twice before writing something mean to someone. Despite what youtube commenters will say, and I know they will say this, this most likely isn't based on a true story. So, to give context, Hana Kimura ended her life after appearing on a reality TV show and getting hate on the internet after. This is very similar to what is going on here, it hasn't been confirmed nor denied that this real life event was the basis for Akane's character here, but I don't think it is. From what I know, a lot of the online messages on the screen are pretty much real though. And they are the same or at least similar to the messages Hana Kimura apparently got. The reason why I think it's not based on her story, as much of a coincidence as it is, is because the serialization date of the first episode in Oshi no Ko no Yangjan was April 23, 2020, and Hana Kimura died on May 23. There is also evidence that they were already trying to find inspiration material for the reality show arc before the first episode even came out, meaning that this is just a very unlucky coincidence. What an end to an episode though, damn. Stuff like this always forces me to just take a pause and go on a walk to relax. I get way too teary about these moments.

I’m sorry if I sound ungrateful but please don’t apologize. I feel bad when I make people feel the need to apologize. It’s a sad reality in life that random disgusting people can have such a profound impact on a good persons life..I know I asked you not to so I might sound hypocritical but my condolences for your loss…No one should feel the need to take there own life.

first thing first im really sorry for your loss, rest in peace for your sister she's at peace now; You are absolutely true about the point of calmness before self-unaliving; my cousin was exactly the same way when she did it, and she was only 14 years old. I despise the Internet for this; how it can have such a negative impact on people's lives

The internet is really cruel, and it's unfortunate that there are only a few things we can do about it. Dw Ali, we love you so much, you can never be cancelled because you are our 'nakama' now.

This episode messed me up beyond words…because what’s scary and hurts/impressive is this is a pretty accurate depiction of suicide especially when she was on that bridge and it seemed peaceful…My sister who raised me committed suicide and there was this sense of peace and calmness the night before she did it …like her mind was clear after letting everything go..extremely on point….This is a dark topic to bring up in your video so I apologize.

the subs are too fast

Arguably one of the most important episodes in media tbh. It tackles such a real topic that we can see everyday, but we never dive deep enough to see what happens to the victims behind the screens who are truly innocent. The episode description on HIDIVE said it best, "Remember what you said in righteous outrage online? There were consequences. You never saw them, but that didn't make them any less real, nor hold you any less accountable." Anyways, on a more positive note. SHE'S FINALLY HERE! AKANE MY BELOVED! My best girl!
