Progress Report June 11th 2025

Another week, another jarbled progress report.

I managed to bring the 6k words up to 20k (yay me!), and I’ve finally completed the scene I said I wanted to focus on. Right now, I’m in the middle of the MC being summoned to the Imperial Court—cue Drusilla attacking her like a rabid animal because the MC received two blank decrees. I’m planning to wrap up that scene along with Sascha’s cutscene under 15k words. Once that’s done, I’ll be diving straight into the reenrollment at Grelior Academy.

I write seven days a week, but Mondays and Tuesdays, my brain loves to shut down and scream, “Touch grass, please.” So I’m giving myself space to breathe and rest a bit so I can keep the momentum alive.

With how immersed I’ve been in TS, I almost completely forgot about DS. Surprisingly though, I still managed to jot a few words down. My usual process is to scribble the main points ahead of time—then, when the moment comes, the words just pour out like a stream into a river.

As promised, the two character lore posts will be published on June 16, 2025, at 12:00 AM EST. This fortnight's drabble will feature the story of Cadmus's mother, Ira, and offer deeper insight into Isuara’s true backstory.

Ugh, I apologize for not answering any asks these past few days. Even though TS will go live for Patreon users on the last Monday of this month, I’ve given myself a personal deadline of June 25 🤧. Why? Because Squid Game drops the next day—and I’m not even going to lie, my text documents won’t be seeing me on the 26th. I’ll be glued to my screen, yelling at the director and screaming at the MC like it’s my job and I'm getting paid.

Once I wrap up this chapter, I plan to dedicate a full week to catching up on asks... though let’s be real, I think most of you prefer when I just keep doing whatever I feel like doing.
