Chrysus's first attempts at winning over the gorgon went about as expected; she was unwelcome. But when Medusa once again let her escape the den unharmed, it only furthered her determination to try again and see if anything from the outside world caught the Gorgon's attention.
She hasnt thrown out her offerings, so its a start.
