2025-01-05 01:43:38 +0000 UTCIf I were in charge of any League of Legends spinoff, I'd make a follow-up to Arcane called 'Piltover's Finest'. The core of the show will focus on Caitlyn and Violet's relationship. Where does it start? Vi searching for Caitlyn post battle from 2x9! I figured this would be a nice way of changing the core characters around since Arcane primarily put the focus on Vi and Jinx. Seeing how Caitlyn and Vi's relationship was held off until the very end of Arcane, I can understand why the creative team wanted to keep the focus on Jinx and Vi and not shift so suddenly to something else like a Caitlyn and Vi reunion. But since this show will focus on Caitlyn and Vi, that missing moment will be the very beginning since the Jinx moment has passed and this Vi and Caitlyn's reunion will be seen in full force. Arcane finished Vi and Jinx, now this one starts with Caitlyn and Violet and there's nothing to rob their spotlight. But gosh, what will their reunion be like? A simple "carrying Caitlyn away" moment with your initial post, a quiet moment of comfort like the one you posted here? Both would be great. In my mind, something more critical like a medical team fighting to save Caitlyn's life (akin to the movie 'The Abyss' when all the characters desperately try to resuscitate Lindsey after she drowned). Vi feeling powerless as she watches everyone trying to save a mutilated and dying Caitlyn. Then suddenly, Caitlyn begins stabalize. Every minute that passes brings more good news. Vi goes from desperate to gleefully tearfull when she realizes that Caitlyn will be alright. It's finally over. They faced a world that not only tried killing them, but also keeping the two apart. Now that the ones who wished them harm are gone and the obstacles that prevented them from fully embracing their relationship have been conquered, a new happier life can finally begin. That will leave no doubt who the show will now focus on and how the show itself will be different from Arcane. At least imho. :) Sorry for the wall of text!
