FANTASTIC FRIDAY SCHEDULE

Comments

The schedule is everchanging but as of now this is scheduled for next week - PLD

The Reel Rejects

When will this be airing? As you watch the Twilight movies, remember they are teenagers ... awkward teenagers ... Also remember their are supernatural elements at play here. There's more than regular human interaction going on. Did you know anyone like Bella when you were that age? I did .... me ... anxious ... timid ... awkward, and clumsy. After you watch these movies, I suggest you react to " A Discovery of Witches". It's based on the All Souls Trilogy books by Deborah Harkness. It's a great writing and an even better book to small screen adaptation of the novels.

Question hey Greg and Tara what do you think of Pattinsons growth as an actor having seen this now compared to his newer films?

Levi Marshall

Question who your favorite vampire in the movie so far. Mine is Alice with the power of the future sight.

Jay Rushton

Hey guys! Twilight famously began with a vivid (let’s say “saucy”) dream Stephenie Meyer had and went on to spark a massive fan-fiction explosion—most notably Fifty Shades of Grey (arguably one of the milder outcomes of the bunch). Given how restrained the original text is (and the movie in certain ways is) —often linked to Meyer’s Mormon background—what do you think made these characters such a perfect canvas for such wildly erotic reinterpretations? (if you care to comment: And why - in your opinion - did this resonate so strongly with older straight women and many LGBTQ+ audiences?)

Hello Tara and Greg, Robert Patterson notoriously isn't a " huge fan " of this films in reflection especially towards the cheesiness ( you can allegedly see Robert crack up during some scenes and the morality side of it ( him being thousands of years old ) wondering if you had any thoughts on those things

Billy Butcher

Hey Greg and Tara! The books and movies spark their own debates, but something not highlighted enough in this movie and franchise are the soundtracks. I’ve mostly heard praise for the artists and songs cultivated for these movies. What are your thoughts on this first soundtrack? 🫶🏼

Kai

Hey Tara and Greg! This franchise is one that I don’t go back to often, but when I do, I have a great time! I was a huge fan of the books but the movies get better as they go on. Question: what’s your take on unique way they explain why vampires can’t be out in the sun? Did you find it cheesy or did you buy into the sparkly vampire thing immediately? 😂 I kinda loved it!

Nikki Sonrisa

Twilight: The Twilight franchise was a pop culture zeitgeist; even if you didn't watch/read it, you still knew it. Q?: Back then, what's the craziest thing you heard about Twilight? (The midnight book release stampedes? The uptick in tatoo sales? The themed weddings?...)

CareBear

This is one of the movies that I actually gave another try as I got older. It was such a popular thing to hate on in the early 2000s. 11 year old me thought it was lame. The soundtrack on this movie is great. Can never get tired of Decode by Paramore. My question for the two of you is, Did you ever find Edward creepy at all throughout the movie? He definitely got her attention, but how was Bella not freaking out that a boy she just met is in her room and admitted to her that he was watching her sleep?

Malik

Not a question. I loved johnn and Roxy reactions to the franchise. Now it’s gonna be fun to see your reaction to those movies a different perspective.
